Normal POV

"Did you see that?"

"Lucy-sama and Natsu-sama went out the same car."

"Kyaaa... Are they dating now?"

"I think so.."

"Who would imagine that the Ultimate Players would be together walking in the Academy."

"Lucy-sama! Good Morning!"

"Natsu-sama! Good Morning!"

"Haaa... This again and I heard a somewhat new rumors now." Lucy sighed while walking along side Natsu

"Don't worry about it my Queen. I'll take care of this." Natsu said and winks at Lucy

"Do want you want."

"Hey! Guys! To be clear we are not dating...yet." Natsu said and winks again at Lucy but she just shrug it off

"Kyaaaa!!!" Lucy's fans yelled

"I'm going ahead." Lucy said and walks away leaving Natsu behind

"Hey Luce! Wait!" Natsu catch up to her

"You know you are really annoying." Lucy said

"Huh? Why?"

"You change your character when you are in school. You're such a faker."

"Of course I need to. I don't want to look pathetic in school. My popularity level might drop." Natsu said and run a hand on his hair. Lucy punch him in the stomach with her knuckles

"Hey what was that for?"

"Don't follow me." Lucy said while smiling at her fans in the corridor. She is trying her best to smile even though she is really annoyed at Natsu

"Hey! What's with the cold shoulder Lucy. You are being nice to me earlier right?"

"I said stop following me."

"But this is the way to our class."

"Then take another route."

"Now that's just mean."

"Hey Lucy! What's up with you and Natsu today? Did you get him already?" Cana asked in the cafeteria. They are together with Erza in their usual table

"Yeah. I heard that you two came to school together." Erza added while eating a strawberry cake

"hhaaaaa...." Lucy let out a huge sigh "That guy didn't do anything but to annoy me. Guess what, he move in next door." Lucy said

"What?!" the girls yelled

"Yup. And he said that was just a coincidence because he was kicked out of their house." She said

"Kicked out? Why?"

"Well family problems." Lucy said uninterested while leaning her chin on her palm.

"So are you still going to continue playing with him?" Cana asked

"I don't know. I'm getting bored after that date we have, I started to ignore him for my plan but during those days, I started to get tired of him already." Lucy said and sip on her juice box. Cana and Erza looked at each other in wide eyes. They both lean on Lucy .

"Hey! Are you sick? This is not the Lucy we knew." Erza said sarcastically while examining Lucy's face

"Hey. Stop it." Lucy said

"I can't believe it, you've became uninterested on the King easily. Does that mean that the King is losing his charm?" Cana said

"Maybe it's just because of Lucy. She seems to be missing something. Do you have something in mind that we do not know?" Erza asked

"Well there is and I think that's the reason I want to distance myself from him."

"What is it? Tell us." Cana and Erza both said

"I think he is playing on me also and I hate that. I know two can play that game but it's not fun if I am going to lose in the end."

"What makes you think of that?" Cana asked

"Jellal told me about a bet that he have with his friends." Lucy said with a sad look in her face

"bet?" Erza said

"What kind of bet?" Cana asked

"He didn't tell me what kind of bet that is. At first I was challenge but suddenly it came to my mind, he just approaches me because of a bet. I feel so low because of that. That's why I'm not interested in him anymore...but you know when he told me about his family earlier I felt different. My chest became heavy because of guilt." Lucy holds her chest; Cana and Erza are just listening to her attentively.

"He is different than those boys I've played on before. I think I can't break him as I want to. He's too soft to be broken. I can feel the sincerity in his eyes when he talk to me. He's actually different. I don't know what makes him even more different, I want to know him more but why do I feel uninterested of him all of a sudden."

"You're mixed up sister. You want to know him more but you are uninterested in him?" Cana said and crossed her arms

"I know! That's why I just shrugged it all off my shoulders."

"I know what's wrong with you Lucy." Erza said

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"You said he is different and you are uninterested in him. Actually it's the opposite of that. He is not different because you two are similar. You are not uninterested in him but more beyond being interested. You want to see through him; you want to know all about him. Lucy...don't tell me that you have soften because of Natsu." Erza explain her thoughts that startled Lucy

"If Erza is right...Lucy maybe you are starting to like Natsu?" Cana said

"like...Natsu?" Lucy mumbles. Is that even possible? For her to like someone for real? Lucy clearly thought to herself, this is the first time she ever felt like that.

Lucy's gaze went to Natsu's table and look at him. Natsu is laughing with his friend. Doki...Doki...Doki...

Lucy's heart started to beat faster than normal. She doesn't know what's happening to her. Just seeing him smile like that makes her hear race like crazy. Doki...Doki...Doki... 'Am I really starting to like him?' 'but what about the bet Jellal is talking about?' 'I don't want to suffer at the end.' 'I don't want that to happen.'

"Hey! Lucy! Are you alright?" Cana snaps her fingers in front of Lucy's face

"Ah- Huh? Yeah." She said

"Are you still going to continue your plan on breaking him if you are growing some feelings for him?" Cana asked

"I won't do it anymore as I said earlier. Cana, Erza, help me get rid of this feelings. I can't explain why my heart is beating so fast. This is the first time I felt like this. I can't like Natsu because I don't want to experience the same thing as the other girls he broke." Lucy said a bit in panic

"Calm down Lucy. We can't do anything about what you feel for him. It's up to you if you can get rid of it early when it is still small. Don't let it grow even more because it's harder to get rid of."

"Cana, let's just do what we can to support her. She is our sister and I also don't want to see her crying just because of Natsu. I know we are all players but we don't pick on guys that are soft hearted. But I think she does, and that's her weakness." Erza said and hold Lucy in her arms

"Don't worry we will help you with all our might Lucy."
