                  you've practically loved astronomy your entire life. ever since you were in the womb, ever since your parents named you yuju, ever since you were born. it was a little comforting hollow that you called home in this weird world of ours. it was also the only thing which calmed you down when you were anxious, the only thing that you felt was truly by your side when you needed it. even your best friend, jiyeon, who had provided more than a life for you, was nothing compared to the universe of mysteries. as you clicked back into reality, you realized that you had been studying for your entrance exam to your dream university, levanter university before you hand zoned off. levanter university had always been a high-end, advanced, history-filled university for astrology students. most of the graduates were often famous for either new discoveries or inventions which changed the world. you considered yourself really lucky to even be able to participate in the entrance examination! you were slowly getting tired, however — it was nearing 2 a.m. in the morning. as you climbed into your bed with your remaining energy, you lay awake, before your body took control. with fluttering eyelashes and a slowly resting body, you fell asleep.

         it would be an understatement to say that your sleep was terrible. not only had you been rolling around the entire night, waking and resting consecutively, you had a terrible nightmare in which you woke up sweating. of course, you would only be thinking about something so ever traumatising to have been woken up in this state — hair all messy, dark eye circles heavily underlining your eyebags, head hurting as if you had a really serious fever headache. as you remembered your horrible nightmare from yesterday night, your parents' last words to you before they had passed away — "my baby... look up. do you see the stars shining for you?do you see the moon? do you see it following you wherever you walk? imagine that we are up there, resting on the moon, following your every step in life, being with you forever. when we enter the afterlife, please take care of yourself when we're gone, until we reunite. " and with that, they had left. they had left the world, they had left the universe, and they had left you.

         it had already been 3 years since the incident, but why did it still bother you so much? you snapped out of your thoughts and got ready for the day. you had a day left until your entrance examination, but yet you still weren't able to focus. so naturally you decided to head to your favorite study place – nyangi cat cafe – to try to focus and get outstanding results during the entrance examination. luckily for you, you were very familiar with the staff and cats there as you went there often. not only would they get you free drinks and refills, the cats would come up and cuddle you, sleep on your lap, making you feel a bit more loved.

         your plan had worked like a charm, you had not only been accepted into levanter university, you also got the highest score within this year, which had been the highest score in the past 50 years. as you packed up to go live on campus, you waved farewell to your best friend, jiyeon, who had been providing for you ever since your parents had passed. you hugged her a warm goodbye, happy rivers of tears rolling down pale white hills until they were met with a soft hand wiping them dry. "don't cry, we'll still keep in contact, okay?" jiyeon comforted. you nodded hesitantly, before delivering one last hug, and with one sentence that jiyeon had muttered to you which gave you strength. not only did it come from the person you loved the most after both your parents, it had also been so ironically related to the universe, hence your name, that it hit hard. jiyeon's delicate red lips pronounced the mystical sentence out.
