MARCELLUS POV

The sound of a firm knock echoed through the spacious meeting room, pulling my focus away from the glowing screen of my computer. I lifted the cuff of my suit jacket to glance at my Rolex, noting that I still have a whole hour before my scheduled meeting with Tempest. Knowing this, I realized that the unexpected visitor couldn't have been her

"Come in" I spoke hearing my voice echoing throughout the room. The large doors of the room instantly open showing Godmother, Gia, Gabby, and Nino all entered in.

"Well, I wasn't expecting all of you." I chuckle while raising out of my office chair. I walked from behind it as Madrina walked towards me. "We so happened to have all been walking to the same door" her arms opens up to me gesturing for a hug.

I slightly leaned down to hug her. Her arms wrapped around me politely as she greeted me. Her familiar natural scent mixed with her usual perfume reminded me so much of my mother's while I bask in our hug feeling the familial nurturing love of godmother.

We gently pulled away from one another ending with light kisses on each cheek. "I hope you weren't busy, are we interrupting anything?." Her dark brown eyes looking up at me as she took light steps back away from me.

I shook my head "No, just handling some e-mails that's pertaining to this Friday before my meeting with Tempest in an hour." I stepped back behind my desk, pulling the leather chair out and sitting back in it.

Watching as Nino grabbed a chair from the meeting table that was in the room. Godmother sat in one of the armchairs that were across from my desk. Gabby sat in the one next to her.

Nino placed the black leather chair from the meeting table next to Gabby motioning his hand to Gia for her to take the seat. A pleasing smile curls upon Gia's face as she looks at Nino "Thank you, brother, it's about time you become a gentleman." She teases with a devilish smirk making Nino rolls his eyes at her taunts.

The soft shifting noise of Godmother's movements caught my attention. She placed her left leg over the right, the soft black cotton fabric of the wide flare pants she wore gently flowed with the movements of her leg. "You have another meeting with Tempest? How did the one on The first go?" Her dark brown eyes glared at me, I leaned back relaxing in my chair placing my right leg horizontally across the left.

My head nodded answering her first question. "Yes and as far as the meeting on the first, surprisingly it went exceptionally well, shockingly. There was a lot that she brought to my attention" I admit reminiscing on the meeting. I didn't know she actually had that much sense in her to conduct herself in such a way given the fact that she's been conducting herself like a maniac since she have been here.

A pleasing smile eased on Godmother's face "I am so happy to hear that. It makes me feel better about the both of you being able to be in the same room alone and it seems like it's progressing since you are meeting with her today." Her eyes twinkle of satisfaction.

The corners of my mouth began to slightly curve in the form of a smirk "She's been behaving quite well." I spoke making Nino instantly let out a light chuckle "If you want it to stay that way, you better not let her hear you say that or else it's going to be chaos all back over again, we would be taking a hundred steps back from the three steps we've taken forward." He chuckled.

Godmother placed the palm of her hands against the fabric of her pants along her thigh area "She's really been settling in, all I needed to do was help her zone in on her focus and not think about the scope of why she's here or what she doesn't like, and it really does make me feel great. She was a tough one at the beginning" Godmother spoke letting out a small laugh.
