chapter 14 - I'm not going anywhere

"Honey help! I think someone's following me!"

I hung up upon hearing her call for help making me turn around and just got on the bike, driving off without my helmet. Knowing at this hour, she must be still at the Black Label building.

Parking in front of the building, I noticed she wasn't in front so in haste, I got off my bike yelling out her name

Y/N - SOMI!

Somi - Y/N!

Her voice echoed in the distance, following her voice. I ran towards the direction of where it came from. Just in front of me in an alleyway, there was a man in the distance but below him was Somi. I can recognise that figure from anywhere.

Running up to them, he was on top of her but she was nearly undressed, she was left half naked as he was about to grab onto her breasts but I quickly ran up to him, charging and kicked him straight off, glancing at her while she looked at me with pleading eyes.

Turning my head at him where he laid on the ground, he had his dick wide open which set me in a state of anger making me pounce on top of him. My fists clenched already, I got started on him, delivering blow after blow at his face which he tried grabbing for me but I quickly broke his fingers while I continued, bloodlust remained in me.

Still angry, still hateful at the world for giving me haymakers of misfortune.

Once I had enough with my fists, my fists bloody and started to peel some skin off my knuckles, I got up and lifted up my foot, stomping on his head where he tried to lift his head up but the whiplash caused him to dig into the ground. His eyes started to roll back, his nose bleeding and his teeth being bashed in where I just kept going and going, grunt after grunt.

You don't fucking go near Somi. at all.

Again and again, my ears ringing not hearing her screams and pleading for me to stop.

Over and over again, it was a blur. I blacked out.

And when finally I looked up, the police were already here staring at me. A blanket over Somi and Jihu and Mireu just staring at me horrified when I looked down at my leg.

Bloody, parts of brain matter and his skull remained on my pants and parts of my shoes. My head turned to look at Somi who just looked at me, silent yet her eyes still telling me everything before Jihu walked up to me, his hands on my shoulder pulling me back.

Jihu - ju- just take it easy Y/N.

Stepping back and stumbling a bit, he helped me balance where I looked at the scene I caused.

A pile of mush like a fish freshly beheaded, his body shook not realising his brain was gone where Mireu came from behind, his voice behind me.

Mireu - let- let us take over from here.

Jihu led me to beside Somi, sitting me down where I stared at the body before turning to Somi, her eyes staring at me before she just rested her head on my shoulder.

Somit- thank you.

I stayed quiet, all I could do was just reflect on what I've done.

Y/N - I'm sorry.

Somi - don't be.

All I could hear next were police sirens and what remained of my fate now as I held her dear now engulfed in guilt and relief. It was something she shouldn't have seen. The part of me that I truly deemed,

A monster.
