go out.

|Odell|

"Look at you, being a good samaritan." Rueben teased once I told them about Raj moving in with me.

"Odell, you don't even know this chick, don't you think it's a little weird to let her move in with you?" Victor asked.

"Yea, but our relationship has been weird since we met."

"A week ago? Look, dude how did you meet this girl anyway?" Rueben asked. shaking his head.

"We just sort of... found our way to each other, like God meant for it to happen." I explained, receiving weird looks.

That's exactly what it was like, tho. That's why I can't just let her be or leave her alone. I'm drawn to her by this strange force.

"You sound like you in love or something, O." Victor laughed, hitting my arm.

"Nah, nothing like that, we're just friends. Y'all should meet her, tho. She's pretty cool." I stated, grabbing my headphones from my locker.

"Yea, tell her to come out with you, tonight. I mean, not out with you, but out to hang. Ya know, since y'all just friends." Rueben joked.

I sucked my teeth, "Man, whatever. I don't even know if she goes out and she doesn't have a car. I don't want her to ride with me, you know, with the cameras and everything."

"So, let her drive your other one."

I don't know, she ain't that good with cars, but I figured going out might cheer her up, give her a chance to meet new people.

"Alright, I'll see."

When I got home, Raj was asleep on the couch. She had cleaned up and even cooked lunch for me.

"Wow..." I mouthed, looking around at my near spotless house.

I went to take a shower, careful not to make too much noise and wake her. After about 30 minutes, I got out and wrapped my towel around me. I walked out of my bathroom into my bedroom. The door was wide open and I could see Raj was now awake watching tv.

"Hey, Odell. " She said once she noticed my presence. "Wassup." I replied, before looking for something to wear.

From the corner of my eye I could see that she was staring. Time to tease her a little bit. With the towel being my only form of covering, I walked into the living room.

"Hey, I want to introduce you to some people tonight. Cool? Cool. You can drive my Bentley." I stated.

She seemed a bit over whelmed.

"Wait, you want me to meet somebody? I don't even have clothes to go anywhere in." She said, sitting up completely on the couch.

"I'll give you money to shop—"

"Odell, no! You've have been more than generous. I can't ask you to do anything else."

"You didn't ask me. Look, take my keys over there and get you something nice with my card. Club attire, Raj. Ok?" I instructed her.

"Are you sure?" She hesitated. "Yes, I'm not asking you." I said, finding my wallet and handing her my debit card. She sighed before getting up.

"Fine, Odell. " She grabbed the keys off the counter.

"And I saw you looking at me." I smirked, walking back into my room.

An hour and a half later I heard the front door open. "Back so soon?" I sarcastically asked.
