Chapter 25 : Confession

Everything seems to be falling apart. I don't know what I want anymore. Why did everyone start questioning me like that? Was Jake upset that I said I didn't like him anymore? I shouldn't have said it like that. Maybe I hurt him. But he needed to know sooner or later. When I'm with Jake, I feel more stressed. There's all these people that expect things from me and I can't do any of it because I'm constantly occupied with him. I mean, I barely see my ice skating partner or my brother or my best friends.

I took off the white soft robe I had on, revealing the black bikini I wore underneathe. I stepped into the glowing hot tub, just outside the lodge. I sat there, thinking about everything that had happened. Was I in the wrong for talking to them like that? I need to clear my head.

Once I got used to the heat, I dipped my face halfway into the water, just below my nose so I could still breathe. I suddenly heard footsteps around the side of the walkway.

Flashback (Heeseung's pov):

"Dinner tonight was weird," Niki said.

"Only because you made it weird!" Sunoo said to him. "Anyways, I'm going to sleep. Hopefully y/n isn't too upset."

Everyone said good night and soon parted ways from the lobby.

"Heeseung." I turned to see Jungwon standing behind me. "The plan."

"Right now?" I asked.

"She's outside by the hot tubs. Jake is there so hurry before he finds her."

I hesitated for a second. What if the plan doesn't work? My relationship with y/n depends on this.

End of flashback (y/n's pov):

"Y/n!" He called. It was Jake. "Y/n, are you out here?"

Did he come back for me?

I didn't move a muscle. I cant see him right now.

"Jake?" I heard another voice. Heeseung.

"You came back too?" Jake asked.

"Everyone finished eating so we all came back. They went to sleep." Heeseung paused. "Looking for y/n?"

"Yeah, so what? I need to talk to Y/n. She doesn't want you."

Huh?

"Just leave her alone. You could choose any other girl to play with."

Play...with?

"It's more fun seeing you act like this. You haven't even confessed to her, have you?"

What is Jake talking about? Was he just acting this whole time with me?

"Whatever Jake. You don't know anything. She doesn't seem to be out here so why don't you go inside." Heeseung said with a cold tone.

"Whatever." I heard his footsteps walk through the doors. There was a few seconds of silence. I was still frozen.

"Y/n? I know you're there."

My eyes widened a bit.

"It's okay, you can come up." He said slowly walking over to the hot tub.

I sat up out of the water. The cold air hit my cheeks, turning them rosey pink. I turned around to see Heeseung standing there wearing a similar robe on.

"Oh, hey Heeseung. I didn't know you were out here." I lied.

He stayed quiet for a second. "You heard everything, didn't you?" He said quietly.
