Read the A/N below or fight me [seriously because I'm giving you a heads up. But I would never fight you ♥]

A/N DON'T YOU JUST LOVE IT WHEN AUTHOR-CHAN ADDS ANOTHER LOVE RIVAL FOR THOSE TWINS? (Nao was/is a rival, but everyone hates him so :).... also, revealing who made the love confession will come soon... originally it was going to be a host, but I decided otherwise, unlesss that's what you guys want) AND WHO DO YOU WANT MORE OF: HIKARU OR KAORU? I NEED TO KNOW SO I CAN PLAN SCENES [especially a specific one I have in my mind], ARIGATO ♥

Today had been odd, to put it in simple terms. It was only the third period at Ouran... and everything felt undoubtedly eerie. All host club activities had been cancelled, which was a first for you, the twins had been missing more days than usual -whether they were skipping classes or were ill, were unknown to you- and more than half of the Host club seemed to be completely avoiding you altogether. You considered it a mini vacation of being away from their antics or a prank of sorts since the members of the Host club tended to behave in joking ways majority of the time, but as the week went on you grew worrisome.

Sure, for the first two days it seemed as if all of the coincidences were just that- coincidences. When Haru began to read your texts and didn't bother to respond you figured she had fallen asleep or her phone died. Those incidents had happened to you before whenever you were conversing with her, so you figured that that had to be the case. But whenever you tried to go to her apartment, her father would answer the door and make the excuse that she was studying and didn't wish to be disturbed or that she hadn't been feeling well and decided to rest early. But at school, in the classes that you had with some of the members, everything was different. For instance, in advanced English, Kyoya seemed more distance -more than his already remote personality. For assignments or mini projects he'd blatantly pick a different partner in means of avoiding you. Of course his partner was ecstatic with him being their collaborator- the girl's would swoon over him and barely got their half of work done, or if he chose a guy, the next day the very same lad would suddenly be surrounded by different females from various grades asking how he had connections with Kyoya.

But overall you didn't feel hurt- just weirded out. If this was a prank it had to take first place in being the worst in history, or if they were all ignoring you just because they could, you'd just end up being pissed off and give them a silent treatment that was ten times worse.

The third period bell finally rang, signaling that all students should now be in their classes, seated and ready to learn- but for you, you simply had to be ready in your Physical Education clothes and walk halfway to the track field, which wasn't to far from the gym locker rooms. Fall was closing in so the air was noticeably cooler and gave a sharp hitch to your breath. The leaves were merely changing at this stage, and none had fallen to the brisk ground.

When you finally reached that large field no one else was present. The teacher was there, which meant that you hadn't gotten the wrong destination, but why was everyone else gone? You didn't feel a sense of relief until you saw your familiar old friend Rima strut onto the field with an almost angry expression. [Keep in mind what the typical Japanese gym uniform looks like because that's what I went with] Since she was taller than the average teenage girl her age, she had asked that she be excused from wearing the female's uniform whenever a gym unit appeared that was required for girls to wear it. That request was denied and Rima made no efforts to hide how unhappy that decision made her. You were surprised that she didn't ask her parents to take care of the problem for her- but then again, Rima was so strong-willed that taking the easy way out and begging for her wealthy family to care of the problem was highly unlike her personality.

So when she walked towards you to be by your side, her expression was unwelcoming which only caused for you to chuckle slightly.

"Something funny?" She questioned with arched eyebrows, and an obvious frown. If she didn't have a pretty face, she'd almost be deemed frightening.
