"That should be me holdin' your hand. That should be me makin' you laugh. That should be me. This is so sad. That should be me.." ~That Should Be Me by Justin Bieber
~Short Recap~
"Please don't leave," he whispered in her ear.
Vanessa sighed, "Calum, nothing you say or do is going to make me stay," she said and attempted to push past him, but he didn't budge. Before Vanessa could register was what happening, Calum backed her up to the wall and pinned both her arms above her head.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that babe," Calum smirked.

Third Person POV:
He still loved her.
Although he didn't say those words directly to her face, his words and actions proved it to her. Even after letting her go, his feelings for her didn't change. For weeks he had to deal with the fact that he might never get back together with his one true love, but now that she's here with him there was no way in hell he was letting her go.
Beneath him Vanessa tried to escape his grasp, but he overpowered her. Her arms were pinned above her head so slapping him wasn't an option, and his feet were on top of hers, so kicking him wasn't an option either.
"Calum, let me go," Vanessa demanded after a few useless attempts of struggling.
"No," Calum answered stubbornly.
"And why not?" Vanessa asked in annoyance.
"Because I- I-..." He stuttered trying to say the three words that were on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn't seem get it out.
"You what? You hate me? You regret dating me? You want nothing to do with me? You found someone better? You were playing with my heart all this time? You never cared about me? Whatever it is can you spear me another heartbreak and not tell me?" Vanessa cried, tears cascading down her face.
She may have been acting like a drama queen at the moment, but can you blame the girl for reacting the way she is?
Throughout her 18 (almost 19) years of existence Vanessa has experienced things that a girl her age should never go through. Although she can't remember the past events that took place in her life, her only concern was moving forward and living her life to the fullest. But, two boys who not only broke her heart, but also shattered her perspective of love was making it extremely difficult for her to do so.
"Vanessa, I know I hurt you and for that I will never forgive myself for putting you through all that pain. But, all I'm asking for is a second chance. Let me prove myself to you. I know I don't deserve it, but my life has no meaning with you in it. I- I love you and-"
"Wait. What?" Vanessa interrupted him. She wasn't sure if she heard the last part correctly.
"Um I said Vanessa-"
"I heard all that I'm talking about the last part," she said.
"I said...I love you," he admitted.
Those three simple, yet powerful words were enough to make her body freeze.
"I love you Vanessa Carter like I'd never loved anyone before. I love your smile, your personality, your stubbornness, your strengths, your weaknesses, your eyes, and everything about you," he said, his forehead coming to rest on her own.
"Calum," Vanessa breath staring into his brown orbs. He looked so vulnerable that it nearly broke her heart. He just confessed his love for her and now he's hesitant to hear her answer.
