What's going on guys it's your boy Mario and Sonic gamer and today we're going to be talking about Honkai Impact 3rd once again and today we're going to be talking about specifically Part 2 and we're going to be discussing on how the story of Part 2 would go know despite my worries of Dream Seeker being another self insert main protagonist I'm more than willing to put it past it as long as she has an actual story, has real speaking dialogue, character development, and a well written backstory just like Kiana and not nearly bland and emotional as Hell like Traveler and Trailblazer. Regardless though I am very curious as to how Part 2 story will go. Today I'm going to give out my theories and thoughts so without further ado let's get started.
As we all know Part 2 takes place on September 23rd 2023. (Nearly 2 weeks after the trailer dropped)

Which means that Part 2 takes place almost 6 years after Part 1 The Moon's Origin and Finality which according to the timeline is around December of 2017 which is literally a year after Himeko's death which is 2016. And takes place 2 years before A Post Honkai Odyssey or APHO for short which is in 2025 now this is a pretty shocking time gap but I suppose it does make sense since they want to connect everything together. Now let's talk about the world building according to the creators we're going to be moving from the Earth and Moon and instead go to the entire Solar System which means tells me that it won't just be Mars that we're going to be on but instead we also have them go to Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, and Uranus, now I know I said that Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail have better world building than Honkai Impact 3rd however if this is done right that could actually change especially when looking at the Project Stigma arc where they showed a lot more on the moon than meets the eye so we could be seeing more in the Solar System, now based on the gameplay it's probably going to be open world which is going to be a problem for some people even though we've had open world before in the main story like in the Thus Spoke Apocalypse arc, the Thirteen Flame-Chasers arc and the first half of the Project Stigma arc so it's not that big of a deal. Now if you are complaining that the open world is going to be too much like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail well at that point I understand because in both of those games open world is absolute torture to go through and while it was that way in Honkai Impact 3rd they at least did it better than those two but that's besides the point.
Now I going off or this I wonder how Part 2 will last since we're going through the entire Solar System and not just Earth and Moon like how many arcs will it have. If we look at the timeline Part 1 takes place in July 2016 to December 2017 and currently in Part 1.5 it rakes place on June 2018, we know Part 2 takes place on September of 2023 so if I had to guess on how long it would last I would say that going off of their timeline and also the fact that APHO takes place in 2025, Part 2 would last until 2024 but I do think would last a lot longer because we are going across the entire Solar System and if it does we will likely more lore in the story, maybe we'll see more Honkai across the Solar System, now I know what you guys are saying in the comments: "But Kiana transcended all the Honkai to the Moon after the fight with Kevin so that doesn't make sense." That may be the case for Earth but what if I told you that there was more Honkai access the Solar System? From what we no off there are entire civilizations on Mars that are destroyed maybe the Honkai is responsible which makes way for more threats to the Honkai across the Solar System and our new main characters have to work together to obliterate the Honkai from not just the Solar System but the entire universe once and for all I think that would be interesting to see. But let's say that the Honkai aren't an issue and that Kiana had truly transcended all the Honkai to the Moon leaving no trace of it's existence left in the entire universe. We could very well see a new threat that's terrorizing the Solar System that can be just as deadly as the Honkai. I think that would be cool to see given the information that we have we might be getting something that's more deadly than Honkai and if left unchecked could he a huge problem for everyone. Now with Part 2 being potentially much longer means we have more arcs and I'll break down for you how many arcs we had in Part 1 in the list.
