❤️ ~ Winter's Day Snuggles

Luke's POV:

I've always loved Winter. The day being dark and cold, being able to warm yourself up with hot chocolate and cuddles with your husband. Luckily for me, I have just that person.

On the contrary to me, Zander hates the cold. He always complains that he can't go anywhere because of the ice that plasters itself all over the pavements and road in our city. As much as I want to agree, I can't bring myself to get out of bed most mornings to do much anyways, so I'm always quite content with staying home and cuddling up with Fluffy.

I feel a pair of arms wrap around me gently, pulling me into their warm embrace. "Morning Darling..." I mutter out quietly, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. "Sleep well?" All I felt was him hug me tighter, humming in response.

I began to slowly get up, only to get pulled down again by Zander. He mumbled something incoherent before bringing his legs up to capture me further, to which I chuckled and turned to embrace him further.

I brushed a lock of hair from his forehead "Not a productive day today then I assume?" I spoke, leaning down to kiss his head.

He shakes his head in response, placing his face in the crook of my neck as he attempts to get closer if that was even possible. "I don't wanna no nu'n." He whispers gently, yawning.

I nod, combing my fingers through his silky hair whilst my throat begins to hum out a melody. I feel him relax against me once again, and so I pull the covers back over us, drifting into a dreamless slumber once again.
