Jax led Lilith into the cabin with chibs, Piney smiled at her from his armchair as Gemma walked towards her and pulled her into a bone-crushing embrace.
"You're going to get through this baby," She told the girl with sympathy. Lilith looked at her father and then at Jax, she bounced from foot to foot as she glanced around the room as if she was looking for something. She looked agitated.
"What's the matter darlin'," Jax asked concerned with her restless behavior. She shook her hand before running her finger through her hair. "Can I have your jumper, it's freezing in here." Jax took his hoody off and handed it to her she snatched it with shaky hands as her chin started to chatter. Jax looked at his mom, it was a hot sunny California day, and the sun was making the cabin feel like a sauna.
"Chibs why don't you take Lilly to the bedroom." Chibs came over and guided her down the hall.
"What the fuck is wrong with her mom it's hot as hell in here," Jax asked his mother.
"She detoxing baby, she needs a hit, this is going to get worse before it gets better."
"Jesus Christ, hasn't she been through enough," Jax said as he ran a hand over his buzzed hair.
"I think it would be best if you and Chibs went back to the club, and you stay with Abel, this is going to take a week or so and I don't think it's a good idea for you to be around to see her like this," Gemma said. "That sounds like a good plan son, your mother and I will take good care of her," Piney added.
Jax nodded in agreement when suddenly screaming and shouting came from down the hall.
"I need to get out of here! I want to go! let me go!" Jax ran into the bedroom to see Chibs physically retraining Lillith, "I want a leave, I got to get out!" She screamed over and over again. Gemma and Piney ran into the room and past Jax who stood shocked at what he was seeing.
"It's okay," Gemma said as she placed her hand on Lilith's forehead. She's burning up get these layers off her."
"What have you done? I don't feel so good." Sweat started dripping down her face as her hands shook violently. She heaved as she tried to puke. "Please help it hurts." she pleaded.
"Your withdrawing baby, you're going to be okay." Lilith tried to push Gemma away before screaming gain.
"You two need to go! go! she's fine." Gemma barked as she took control of Lilith who had collapsed on the floor. Chibs gripped Jax by his kutte and pushed him out the door shutting it behide him.
"We need ta go brother, she's in good hands with your mother and I don't know about you but I can watch that shit."
"I know, I am so scared she won't get through this," Jax uttered as he wiped his tears away.
I know, but we have to believe in her, She is a strong girl she can do this." Chibs said as he patted Jax on the back.
