"Seriously...you're walking in with me?" Haechan asked, turning to his father who insisted he drove his son to work today even though he lived the opposite way from him.

"Why? All of a sudden you don't want to be associated with the CEO of Hansung Corp?" His dad asked with an amused expression, watching Haechan mutter under his breath knowing he would get sly comments coming from a place of envy from his fellow coworkers.

"Alright, if you insist" Haechan said with a sigh, pressing the 7th floor button, taking his father who was tagging along to visit Jiayi, to the same floor where he worked.

"You won't be watching over me like a hawk, will you?" Haechan clarified with his dad before the elevator reached his floor.

"I'm going to talk to Jiayi and I'll be right out. I've got work to do as well. I run the company just so you know" His father replied smartly, stepping out of the elevator, immediately being greeted by Renjun who politely bowed, expecting the CEO's arrival.

"You should welcome me like that every morning too" Haechan said to Renjun with a smirk, only for him to roll his eyes and follow the his father down the corridor to Jia's office.

"Aww, daddy give you a ride to work today?" Jaemin cooed with a baby voice, making Haechan glare at him before following him to take a seat at his desk.

"That's...different." Haechan said, eyeing his desk, noticing that there, for once, wasn't a stack of paperwork waiting for him on his desk.

"You guys finally decide to staple and file your own documents?" Haechan asked with a surprised tone, looking at Chenle and Jaemin chugging down the first cup of their morning coffee.

"Haha, very funny" Chenle deadpanned

"You need to get a calendar. You're being transferred to the finance department today. Your month with sales is officially over. Enjoy~" Jaemin said, wiggling his eyebrows, giving Haechan a smack on his ass playfully, erupting in a playful dispute about how unprofessional that was.

After a few more minutes of conversing with his cubicle mates, he heard the faint voice of Jia get louder as she approached the elevator with his dad, both of them laughing at some joke previously mentioned.

"It was great having you here, feel free to come check in whenever" Jia said to her boss who smiled in response

"I'm sure you'll have it under control, no need for me to check in too often. Plus, I don't think my son would be a big fan of having his father around the office so much" he said making Jia chuckle and nod, pressing the elevator button for him

"But regarding Haechan, are we clear on what's going to happen?" He asked with a smile and she nodded

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine with that and I'm sure he'll find it helpful too" She said and with a final nod, he left the floor, elevator doors closing as Jia bowed in respect.

She turned around to meet Haechan's eyes, intently looking at her every action, however the second their eyes met he couldn't help but mischievously smirk at her, remembering the conversation they had yesterday, he surely wasn't going to let that go.

She avoided his gaze, turning around and walking down the hallway, her black stilettos clicking on the floor. But before Haechan could follow her and attempt to ruin her perfectly structured office routines, a tap on his shoulder made him look away from her slowly distancing silhouette.

"Hey you!" Yuki piped with a smile and he raised his eyebrows in surprise

"Hey...what are you doing here?" He asked, knowing that she doesn't have much business being on the same floor as him.

"I'm done my rotation with finance so I'm taking your desk in sales" she said, this statement getting the attention of Jaemin and Chenle.

"Good luck with these guys" Haechan said, shaking his head at the two guys who looked at their next filing victim, who she respectfully bowed and introduced herself to.

"Need help packing up? I can give you a little tour of the finance department too" She offered, looking back at Haechan

"Uh...yeah actually that would be great" he said, taking up her help, thinking that the sooner he moved the quicker he can make himself known to the finance department, which according to rumours spreading around the sales department, wasn't the most nicest group of people.

Packing wasn't too hard for him to do, considering how much he actually hated the thought of coming in to work everyday. Heat automatically rushed to his cheeks in slight embarrassment as Yuki opened his drawers only to find his glasses and the old tub of medication Jia previously gave him when he was sick.

"You really hate it here huh?" She asked with a chuckle

"No just...trying out that minimalism trend...that's all" he said awkwardly rubbing the nape of his neck before grabbing his belonging, that being the two things previously mentioned, before heading up the elevator with Yuki by his side.

"This is where the breakout room is, it's usually very busy during lunchtime since most people on this floor don't use the canteen...and finally this is Lee Jeno, the department head and your supervisor" she said and Haechan looked over to see the slightly taller man look up from his desk

"What are you doing here?" Jeno asked, sternly since he was being distracted from his balancing sheets but also with a bit of surprise.

"I don't think he likes me very much" Haechan whispered to Yuki who giggled at the comment before he took a few steps closer to Jeno's desk

"I'm starting my rotation in the finance department. Where should I sit?" Haechan asked, only to be met with a blank stare

"Jia didn't inform you yet?" He asked, making Haechan furrow his brows in slight confusion

"Inform me of what?" He asked

"Go to her office, you'll see" Jeno said, waving his hand to dismiss him quickly before turning his attention back to his work.

"What a waste of a journey huh?" Haechan said with a chuckle

"Wasn't a total waste, at least we got to bond" Yuki said, slightly blushing

"Not really bonding when we're still talking about work though" he said with a smile as they both headed back into the elevator

"Well, how about we go grab lunch together? That way you can make it up to me for ditching me at the party" She said playfully

"Ah...sorry about that" Haechan said sheepishly, yet the only thing he could really remember from that night was the intense make out session he had with his boss.

"Don't worry about it. So...lunch?" She asked and he nodded, smiling before bidding her goodbye as they both reached the sales floor again, him parting ways to walk down his favourite hallway to see a certain someone.
