CHAPTER 14 - SUDDEN CLOSE CONNECTION

Jin Ling's POV

I don't get why that idiot was being too loud with his laughter. What is he laughing at anyway?

I took a glance at those two Lan. I could see that Sizhui's face seem to be pink.

'Was the idiot making fun of him or embarrassed him?...'

I look back at Zizhen who talks to me just now,he tried to get along with me. Surprisingly,he is the same as Sizhui. Calm,polite and patient. He seem like a nice and helpful friend.

I blushed as I thought of Lan Sizhui. Him and his.. ugh everything.. have been annoying me lately. Everytime I think of him,I felt.. I don't know how to explain this feelings. I don't even know what this feelings is!

"You're face is red.",Zizhen pointed me out.

"W-what?!",I realised,I felt the heat in my face.

Breath in... breath out...

Breath in... Breath out...

I took some air to calm myself down. Why suddenly I act like this?

"It's Nothing! It wasn't red!",I said in a harsh tone.

Zizhen chuckle and then laugh."Okay okay! Calm down"

Lan Sizhui's POV

I look at Jin Ling and Zizhen who seem to get along. I felt glad when I see Jin Ling get along with the others well.

Meanwhile Lan JingYi seem to be jealous when he sees Zizhen laugh,"what's that prick doing to him.."

"I'm sure they're getting along and talk about things",I said in my usual gentle tone.

"I don't give shit about what they talk but how can Zizhen be laughing so adorable",Lan JingYi blushed as he keep looking at Zizhen who still talk to Jin Ling.

"Don't swear-"

"This is not gusu"

"Oh yea.."

Zizhen gave JingYi a wink as he noticed him staring at him. JingYi fell off his chair as he felt his heart melt from the wink."AAAH-"

"JingYi!-",Lan Sizhui got up quickly and crouch down to look at JingYi who fell down and now laying on the floor.

"A-Yi!",Zizhen got up also and got here fast."Are you alright?"

JingYi sat up and nod,his face still blush pink."I am.. thank you Sizhui.. thank you A-Zhen"

Lan Sizhui sigh from relief and same goes to Zizhen.Zizhen extended his hand to JingYi to take it.

JingYi took his hand and Zizhen pull him up from the ground and held his hand tight."be careful,alright?"

Lan JingYi blush so much,he can't said a word clear.He stutter,"y-ye-yes.."

Lan JingYi's thoughts was,'ITS YOU THE ONE THAT DISTRACT ME MADE ME FALL DOWN. WAIT NO I'M NOT BLAMING YOU,I'M BLAMING YOUR HANDSOME LOOK. YOU EVEN WINK MADE ME FELL EVEN MORE..FOR YOU..'

Jin Ling got up and walk towards them,he got bored watching their lovey dovey moment.He pout with his hands crossed against his chest and said to that one UnLan Lan ever,"clumsy of you"

"Shut up!",Lan JingYi growl back.

Lan Sizhui pat Jin Ling's shoulder which made Jin Ling a bit surprised and turn around to met Lan Sizhui's eyes.

"ek- don't look at me like that..",he blush as he look away,avoiding eye contact from the Lan.

"I- how was I looking at you?",Lan Sizhui asked confusedly wondering what he meant by that.

"I'm saying your looks can attract other's attention easily..especially your nightshade coloured eyes and your sweet personality and kind attitude towards others.",Jin Ling explains without hesitation.

Lan Sizhui blush when he heard that,"are you referring me as attractive?"

Jin Ling blush as he realised his choice of words to explain,he hesitate,"wait- what.. uhm.. I.. uhm.."

He doesn't know whether to admit or lie or just don't say anything.

Lan Sizhui could see through his expression and his hesitation.He walked closer towards Jin Ling and asked again,"Am I?.."

Jin Ling look away,he can't look into his eyes in this situation,if he does,he gets distracted by those beautiful eyes.If he doesn't,he struggle to answer or admit."u-uhm.."

Lan Sizhui knew the answer so he whisper in Jin Ling's ears which made Jin Ling flinched as he felt his breath."You're also attracting others, don't think me only. You're also attractive. I only known you for 3 days but I felt sudden close connection towards you. Maybe we should get along and know each other more,what do you say?"

Lan Sizhui back a bit with a soft gentle smile on his face,waiting for the Jin's answers.

Jin Ling blushed,he rubbed his own neck slightly. He think about it,he nod anyway. "That doesn't sound bad.."
