Coming For The Throne (Skylox)

I am suffering from slight writers block with No Name's cause I can't think of how to start to next chapter. For now, enjoy this Skylox one shot! Song lyrics are in bold. Song: Coming For The Throne by Otherwise

Hey kid, who you fighting? Find yourself so you can stand united, With the voices that are screaming out inside your head. Hey kid, get it together. Every second doesn't last forever. You can be the President or you could end up dead.

Ty sighed as he listened to his friends plan out their attack. They were done with their current king being ignorant to their needs. They were going to overthrow the government and kill the king. Either they'd rule or die trying.

Take control of the monster, inside of you: Focus the rage. All the answers are right there in front of you, Just turn the page.

"Are you even listening Ty?" Mitch, one of his friends asked. He shook his head no and they all sighed. "Well, are you okay with being in charge of the killing itself? You're the stealthiest." Ty nodded and took a deep breath. What did he agree to?

Wake up, when you're burning inside. And everybody's gone and lost their faith in you. Wake up, you better open your eyes. Look around 'cause there's so much love to loose.

They arrived at the castle and everyone began to set out on their missions. Ty sneaked into the back service entrance and tuned his earpiece. He had it to communicate with Seto, who was running the emergency plans. It was his job to make sure that it went smoothly. As if Ty would let their plan fail.

(Whoa) Heavy is the heart of the one who walks alone. (Whoa) Let 'em know that you're coming for the throne. You're coming for the throne. Now you're coming...

He slid down the halls with his back against the wall. He slipped past plenty of guards until one caught him. "Young sir-"
"Sh. Go to sleep." Ty cooed as he slit his throat. He didn't make a noise and Ty continued on. He was coming...

Hey kid, I know a secret. You gotta live a life that you won't regret. Never give up even when you take your final breath.

He made it through a few more hallways until he heard commotion coming through the earpiece. He scoffed at the other fools, fearing for their safety. But his job was to get to the king and kill him. He wouldn't take his last breath until he was dead.

Raising hell on the brink of insanity: Rattle the cage. When your head and your heart are the enemy: Focus the rage.

Ty had once known the king as a friend, perhaps that's why he held such a grudge. Best friends forever he had promised, maybe even more. He scolded himself for ever believing the lies, and for falling in love with the man he had to kill.

Ty snuck through more hallways, slitting throats as he went. He heard further commotion in his ear.
"Abandon mission! I repeat! Get out of the castle now!" Seto's voice rushed over the earpiece. Ty rolled his eyes and continued forward. All the guards had already run towards the others so he continued with less caution.
"Get out of their Ty!" Mitch's voice yelled before a loud thump was heard and the earpiece cut off. Ty gulped and went faster. All precautions thrown out as his only goal was to kill the king. There was no getting out alive.

Wake up...

"Why hello there. I don't think you're supposed to be here, now are you?" A guard asked as he stepped before Ty. Ty went to attack but the guard knocked his sword out of his hands and began to drag him to the throne room.

"I have a rebel on their way towards you sir. And armed as well." The soldier said as he threw the boy before the throne. Ty glanced up through his fringe to see a stressed version of his childhood friend.
"I'm sorry Adam." Ty said as he pulled out a dagger and threw it at his skull.

(Whoa) Heavy is the heart of the one that walks alone. (Whoa) Time to show 'em that you're coming for the throne. You're coming for the throne. Now you're coming...

Adam caught the dagger before it could touch his hair and he sighed. "I truly thought we had something Ty. Perhaps I was wrong. Perhaps it was all one-sided. Oh well, now's the fun part." Adam said as he waved his hand. Ty was dragged out and the last thing he heard was "Bring the prisoners to interrogation. Together."
