Chapter 47
I overthink and judged him for being nonchalant about this thing. Not knowing that he planned all of this behind my back. He saved me from the stress of setting everything up, and manage everything alone.
I think being my best friend helped him real hard. He knows me too much. I am more talk, but when it comes to challenges and actions I go weak. So he did everything alone and let me enjoy the fruit of all his hard work and effort. And all I needed to do was to walk on the altar.
As much as I wanted to look at everyone, my eyes were fixed on the man in front.
"I'll let go of my youngest now, I feel so not ready for this..." bulong nito sa akin. "But I know you're gonna be in good hands... so are you ready?" masuyo niyang turan, marahan akong tumango bago kumalas sa yakap.
"You're part of this plan?" ako ngayon ang nagtanong, ngunit ngumisi na lang ito nang magsimula nang tumugtog ang background music.
Dad offered his arms, and I gladly hung my hands there. Doon ko lamang nalibot ang mata ko sa mga bisita,Wyatt really invited everyone who made a part of our journey.
"Let's now welcome! Our lovely bride!"
"Born ready for this." I answered with so much determination.
We finally walked down the aisle. The place looked so good and classy, something I would imagine to have for my special day. There are a bunch of different colors of flowers everywhere. The light bulbs hanging made the place look more elegant and bright. They made a three color theme and it all matched. Beige, white and cream.
"You know... Wyatt has been with us since you were in highschool. I watched him treat you like a princess. Naisip ko na dati, na kung kayo man ang magkakatuluyan... hindi ako magdadalawang isip na pumayag." dad said on my side, while we're walking slowly.
His words made my heart melt, I couldn't stop smiling.
"You were for each other Inah... please take care of each other." that was his last advice before we reached the altar. My eyes heated as Dad led me to Wyatt.
I was calmed when I walked with dad earlier, but now that Wyatt is just inches away from me.. My heart raced again, along with the nervousness and anticipation.
