Chapter 3 - Mysterious Drain

Abbie and Duncan sat on a bench, talking to each other about how much fun they had in the war,
"That was really fun!" Abbie smiled,
"I know! We should do it again sometime!" Shouted an excited Duncan, their conversation continued until a sudden voice scared the two,
"Yo." It said, Duncan shrieked like a girl and face-planted off of the bench. Abbie held her hand over her heart after the scare, and started giggling at the fact Duncan screamed like a girl,
"WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT CALLUM!?" Duncan yelled, trying to catch his breath,
"Nothing, just checking how you and your girlfriend were." Callum replied,
"G-girlfriend?" Duncan said, Abbie and he looked at Callum,
"Look, you even blush in unison, you're a perfect couple." Callum smiled and chuckled, Abbie and Duncan kept looking at each other, and then back to Callum, they stayed silent. Duncan got up off of the ground and brushed the pebbles off of his legs,
"Excuse me Abbie, I'll be a few seconds.." He grabbed Callum by his shirt and dragged him somewhere else, an angry look was on Duncan's face,
"Shut it." He growled in anger,
"Hey, calm down Duncan! Everyone thinks you two are cute." Callum whispered as he pushed Duncan off of him,
"Just keep your cool, and go back to Abbie, I'll leave you alone." Callum sighed, and walked off, leaving to go back to Abbie.

Duncan walked back to Abbie, Abbie stood up and they walked towards a sleeping Judd,
"He purrs in his sleep...cute!" Abbie squealed questly,
"Psst," A strange voice said, Abbie and Duncan looked around for the voice,
"Over here." It whispered, Duncan and Abbie looked towards a drain, an old Inkling that seemed very old, he quickly shot down the drain, hoping the two would follow along, they walked up to the drain and inspected it. They went into squid form and dived in.

They flew up out of the other side, they launched into the air, and landed on their feet, they inspected the area,
"Where are we?" Asked Duncan,
"Th-th-th oc-oc-oct" Stuttered an old voice, Duncan and Abbie looked at the small, elderly inkling,
"The Octarians are coming! Ahh!" He shouted in fear,
"I'm sorry. I lost my cool for a moment there." He said, Abbie and Duncan looked at him in confusion,
"I'm Cap'n Cuttlefish, leader of the legendary Squidbeak Splatoon! That look in both of your eyes...I've been waiting for a young 'un like you two! The Great Zapfish...that powers Inkopolis has vanished!" Cap'n Cuttlefish explained,
"I heard about that!" Said Abbie,
"Same here." Replied Duncan,
"And though nobody will believe me, it's work of Octarians! They're after revenge for their defeat in the war one-hundred years ago! I was keeping a watchful eye on them myself, of course...but they stole the Great Zapfish from right under my nose! Please! You must help me recover the Great Zapfish!" Cap'n Cuttlefish, there was an awkward silence afterwards,
"I'll take your silence to mean, 'Yes, of course I'll help!' Starting today, you are Agents 3 and 4 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon!" Cap'n cuttlefish pointed at the two, they looked at each other and nodded,
"Alright." They said in unison,
"Take these special Hero Suits - they will help you withstand their ink!" Cap'n cuttlefish explained, he tossed two Hero Splattershots and two sets of full hero suits to Abbie and Duncan. They put the hero suits over their clothing,
"What a perfect fit! (Especially for a hand-down from Agents 1 and 2...)" Cap'n Cuttlefish said,
"Now, let's go beat those nasty Octarians! I'm counting on you two!" Cap'n Cuttlefish shouted, pointing towards the first kettle, Abbie and Duncan looks towards where Cap'n was pointing; they couldn't see anything,
"You have to uncover the entrances to the Octarian lair!" He pointed out, Abbie and Duncan figured out what to do, and they started to uncover the first kettle.
