Story Recap so you don't have to reread the last 10 chapters:
Task Force X has been sent to Gotham City in three different groups to compete to complete the mission of Killing the Joker before he plunges the world into complete chaos using a modified version of Scarecrow's fear gas, the same gas that created (Y,N) (L,N)'s alter ego of The Crimson Ghost which laid dormant for weeks after (Y,N) started a relationship with Cleo Cazo: Ratcatcher 2. However, after manipulating Crazy Jane, Kay Challis's main split personality, The Crimson Ghost once again resurfaced as a series of events would lead (Y,N) to the door of one of his former friends and attempted murderers/attempted murder victim: Sydney Allin, surrendering control to the Ghost to make sure Sydney paid for her crimes. Waller attempted to stop The Ghost by blowing up the bomb installed in the base of (Y,N)'s skull, however as it detonated The Ghost transformed his head into fear gas, blowing up the bomb but not the brain. Just as he was about to finish the job, Crazy Jane successfully pulls off The Crimson Ghost's mask, giving (Y,N) back control over his actions, albeit reluctantly as without the mask, (Y,N) lacks the killer instinct to murder his former best friend. This reluctance only increases once Sydney reminds him that although crippled, she tried to stop their friend group's attempt to murder him and urges him to remember how the last days of his old life really unfolded, instead of how The Crimson Ghost distorts it in his head.

Which he does now.

"Elsa?" I asked opening my door. It was raining out. Her hair was a complete mess and she was completely drenched. I remember being worried that her bandages around her wrists would fall off. She had been scratching herself as a part of a nervous tick awakened by I.9.K. It was so bad on her wrists people thought she was cutting herself. She started scratching at her face and had a couple of red scratch marks on it. She had definitely been crying. Her bloodshot blue eyes were looking around frantically. She definitely had recently been under the effects of it.

"C-can I come in?" She asked me. I moved to the side to let her come in. I didn't say anything to her and just stared at her. The last time I saw her she called me an evil manipulator. She said I was just as guilty as Scarecrow and she wished we both got the electric chair. There was an awkward silence as I stared at her across from me wondering what she could possibly want. All the while a voice in my head was telling me she was only here to further push you to insanity. Don't give her the time of day! Send her away or do what needs to be done!

"...The last time we talked, you said you were close to a cure to the fear gas, right?" Elsa asked me.

"You told me you weren't interested and you wanted me to stay out of your sight."

"I... overreacted. It hurts. Talking to you since that night. So you suddenly ambushing me, rambling like a lunatic, being overly aggressive-"

"I was not aggressive."

"You were hurting me."

"No I wasn't."

"You practically pushed me into the brick wa-"

"NO I DIDN'T!"

Don't get gaslighted! Not by this whore! She only means to hurt you!

I notice Elsa grip the chair and cower away from me.

"Jesus, Elsa I'm sorry I-"

"It's oh k-kay. It's the gas messing with you." She said as she started nervously scratching her cheek.

"You really shouldn't do that-"

"What are you, still trying to control me!?" Elsa snapped back at me. "Sorry. The gas."

"I know." I responded. "Do you honestly believe that I was trying to-"

"That doesn't matter right now. The cure, you said you were working on it right? At your internship?"
