They shouldn't be doing this... they definitely shouldn't be doing this. However it has to be done. Whether the school approved of it or not they would be sneaking out. Of course they wouldn't be sneaking out and leaving the school. Far from it. They just wanted to sneak out into the woods and get a few more hours of training. In the pouring cold rain. Salem traversed through the halls of Night Raven College. The once brightly lit halls filled with noise and laughter were now filled with darkness and silence. The only sound that remained was the flicker of the green torches and Salem's soft steps echoing through the hall. Although this was muffled by the rain drops hitting the building outside.
They stopped in front of the entrance to the campus and looked towards the woods. The rain could be heard more clearly, thumping heavily onto the ground below. Even through the darkness Salem could vaguely see the outline of the bushes, the trees, and the large puddles on the ground. They could feel a rush of cold air waft through the entryway, causing them to shiver a bit. However they shook it off and took a step into the pouring rain.
Or at least they tried to.
