Imagine growing up with an older sister who liked bossing you around simply because she's older than you by two years.

It seems a little annoying, doesn't it?

Now, imagine being a grown adult and having to work for your older sister, meaning she's your boss.

It's still annoying but some benefits come with it.

My sister, Alessandra Castillo leads our family mafia that's located in Chicago, the Castillo Mafia.

I'm her right-hand man–also known as her second in command. I oversee most things but nothing gets past me without my knowledge. I'm one of the few people who can argue with her without receiving a bullet in my head.

Alessandra's husband, Ceaser Castillo, formerly known as Ceaser Russo, leads the Italian Mafia.

While the Italian Mafia's primary is in Italy, Ceaser made many changes so he could run things in Chicago with my sister. He only leaves once a month to fly to Italy so he can make sure everything is running smoothly over there.

Ceaser is so smitten with my sister that he despises the day he has to leave for Italy. It's almost as if he can't function properly if he's separated from her.

I can never understand that.

A soft knock hits the door before it opens. I'm about to go off on whoever decided to walk in without permission. At first, I thought it was a guard but then I noticed it was my five-year-old niece.

"Uncle Dom?"

"What can I help you with, Tesoro?" I ask, closing the laptop screen slightly, and facing her.

"Can I hide here? Santi's counting right now and Leo took my hiding spot."

"Of course, you can." I smile and scoot away. "Come and hide under my desk. I won't tell your brother that you're here if you don't. Deal?"
