~Chapter 5: No Adult Time.. ~
*The next day...*
$Drake's P.O.V$
I watched as my daughters crowded around my wife, begging for her attention.
Tori developed a fever last night and demanded to sleep with us. I went to the store around three o'clock in the morning to get some medicine and Debbie stayed up till she went to sleep.
Debbie looked so beautiful but also tired, she was disappointed that I couldn't make her weak in the knees and leave her wanting more.
She said that she was a mother before she was a wife.
I should be over there, begging for her attention as well. It has been forever since my wife has given me her undivided attention, I missed that.
"Alright, go watch TV," I told the kids.
Debbie laid back on the bed and sighed. "You remember when I came here?"
I put my head on top of her chest and looked up at her. "To Canada? Yeah, feel like it was yesterday,"
"I was so scared, everything was going so fast. It was like, one day I was at home, cooking for my mom, getting ready for college, then the next day, I'm sitting in Canada," she stared at the ceiling.
I started to get this strange feeling in my stomach. When been having these conversations often, I always wonder why though.
She looked down at me. "Do you ever wish our life didn't end up like this?"
Don't answer that..you should know better by now.
"The way it happened is bizarre but I couldn't be happier, you help me get through a lot,"
She racked her fingers through my beard and smiled. "Really? Like what?"
"Mama!"
Debbie laughed a little then got up after I got up off her.
I smiled as she walked out the room and reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone.
When I found the person I was looking for, I started the call via facetime.
"Hey light bright,"
Ashley's face came into view.
"Hey, are you busy?"
It was hard to tell from the looks of her surroundings. From what Debbie has told me, she has been styling people make-up in Florida.
"Not really, just working on this commercial, why?"
"Good, I got a favor to ask,"
She sighed. "What did you do now?"
I chuckled slightly. "Nothing yet, Debbie and I haven't really had any time alone and-"
"You haven't been giving her that caramelstick?"
I eyed her but couldn't help but laugh. And Debbie calls me blunt. "For the lack of a better word, yes but I think it's more than that,"
"So what do you want me to do?"
"I need you to watch the kids-"
"What happened to Lisa?" she cut me off yet again.
I rolled my eyes. "She is moving out soon because she is getting married-"
"And she didn't call me? Seriously?"
"Ashley!" I yelled slightly. "Focus. I need you to watch the girls while I take Debbie somewhere for a night,"
"Okay, when?"
I looked over to the wall where Debbie hung up her Tinker Bell calender at on her said of the bed. "It's gotta be before the month is out because I'm going back on tour,"
"That's nothing new," she looked at something in the distance. "Okay the last B2K member, I'll see what I can do,"
"Thank you, I owe you one,"
She smiled. "Just hook me up with Ryan and we'll be good,"
I shook my head. "I'll see what I can do,"

"Do you want bananas or cantaloupe?" I asked Tori as she stood behind me.
"Bananas!" she said loudly.
I put a finger over my mouth. "Inside voice please," then I handed her two bowls. "Give one to Juju,"
"Tank you," Tori took the bowls and sped walk to the living room.
I dried my hands and watched her give one of the bowls to her sister and she sat down and watched TV together, it was so cute.
"You want another?" Aubrey walked up behind me, hugging me from behind.
I laughed. "Maybe when Julianna is six or seven,"
"I'll be old then," Drake kissed my neck.
"Too late,"
He bit my neck making me laugh hysterically. "I'm old?"
"Well, you will be thirty this year,"
"So?" He got from behind me and I sat on the counter. "I still got it,"
I pecked his lips and the doorbell rung. I was about to get it but Aubrey stopped me.
Tori ran to the kitchen and put her bowl in the sink.
"Good girl," I encouraged her.
She smiled.
Aubrey came back into the kitchen while a figure walking behind him.
"Justin?" I hopped of the counter and ran to him, hugging him.
He hugged me tightly and looked at me. "I thought I would come check on you,"
It's been almost six months since I seen Justin, we been trying to keep our distance from each other because of Aubrey's jealousy. We really don't talk like we used to and when we do talk, it's small talk.
"How you been?" Justin and I walked to the living room while Aubrey went upstairs.
I shrugged. "Perfect. Life couldn't be better,"
He nodded agreeably. "That's good,"
Julianna walked over to Justin and handed him one of her toys.
"Thank you," Justin smiled at her and held the toy in his hand.It was strange that Julianna did that, she doesn't like being around people she doesn't know.
But seeing them interact with each other was nice, it reminded me of the time Justin took over the role of daddy for a little while.
"She has your personality," Justin watched Julianna as she played on the floor. "She has gotten so big,"
"Yeah, I have a feeling that she is going to be tall like her daddy,"
