Zandros' POV

I parked my car in the driveway and I gave the keys to Riko, my parent's valet and their driver and headed inside their Mansion. I entered into the grand foyer that is two stories high with a winding staircase and black and white marble flooring, with an elegant chandelier that hanged above the stair to give light to the grand staircase.

I made my way to the dining room where everyone was waiting for me. I know I'm already late. I was with Cassandra and Andreas to finalize the last details on the hotel my company was currently building in Dubai and I lost track of my time, and thanks to Naeah for reminding me, or I would have completely forgotten it.

As soon as I walked into the dining room, I smell the delicious aroma of a steak. My father's favorite dish.

"Finally, you arrived! I thought you have ditched out your Mom's invitation to join us in our dinner." My dad sarcastic voice resonated in my ears. I almost rolled my eyes.

"I have no plan of not showing up Dad! I was caught up in a meeting that's why I lost track of the time." I reasoned out.

"That's why I have to call Naeah to remind you, is it?" Dad raise his eyebrow challengingly. I can't believe how controlling this old man is!

"Ok, I almost forgot it Dad. But, I'm here! What's the fuss?" I snapped exasperatedly. I can't control not to talk back at him.

"Boys, let's not argue about this." Mom warned as she shot us both with warning look. "Honey, he's here. Stop complaining!" Mom lectured Dad and Dad just shot her with an incredulous look and Mom just glared at her. With a resigned sighed Dad shut his mouth and continue eating. I sat across Chrissy, beside Mom.

Mom put a piece of big steak and mashed potato in my plate and mixed veggies. I thank her and started eating. Chrissy was looking at me annoyingly. I know she's still mad after knowing that Lauren and I parted ways without talking. It's been a month and I hardly sleep at night. Still missing her.

"I heard that the daughter of Akiko Hayashi is coming to visit Greece? And you're going to be her tour guide.. Is that right?" Mom asked, as she pick her wine glass and made a sip, with her eyes lock on me.

"Yeah. She should be here by tomorrow." I replied nonchalantly. Akiko Hayashi asked me a few days ago if I could watch and be a tour guide to her daughter Ayumi. I met her once already and she's very sweet and beautiful. I knew that the old man Hayashi was hinting me to marry his only daughter. I didn't tell him exactly that I already love someone but I didn't said yes either.

"Do you like this girl, Zandros?" Mom asked curiously.

"She's not bad incase Mom." I replied. Mom and Dad looked at each other. I ignored it and continued on eating while sipping on my wine occasionally.

"So, you're going to court this Chinese girl?" Chrissy butted in, in a sarcastic tone. I had enough of her nosy character and meddling with my life.

"Maybe. And she's a Japanese. She doesn't look bad, and after all, she's the daughter of one of our company partners!" I replied thought provokingly. Everyone look at me confused and with full of curiosity but I just ignored them. Not feeding much of their interest.

Chrissy cut her steak exaggeratingly while throwing me an exasperated look. I didn't budge. I continued eating, I just want to get out of the place. They were all looking at me like a predator and I don't like the feeling of Mom and Dad staring at me.

Ok, that's it! They were all looking at me like I did something wrong. What's wrong with my family?

"Mom, Dad, what is that look all about?" I snapped annoyingly, as I put my fork and knife down on my plate, not bothering if it made a loud noise.
