It was the night before my wedding and i found myself unexpectedly restless. After tossing and turning for hours i pulled the black sheets away from my legs and slowly escaped out of bed. I made sure i hadn't startled Tom, his rhythmic breathing assured me i hadn't.
After slipping on my slippers, i draped my light cotton robe over my tank top and shorts pj set. I didn't exactly have a plan to where i was going, all i knew was that i needed some fresh air.
The stillness of our home during nighttime was not a common occurrence. The hustle and bustle of the mafia never stops, no matter the time of day. But tomorrow was a special day, our day. The day that the world would know i am to forever be Tom's wife.
I found myself walking down the large stone stair case of the patio, my slippers dampened by the dew accumulated from the light evening showers that made their way over the city a few hours before. My eyes were hypnotically drawn to the way the moon glimmered off the ponds water. I sat down on the cusp of the water, thinking about how my life had changed since i had fallen in love.
Time had flown by with Tom and i wish with everything in me that it would slow down just a bit. I wanted to savor every precious moment with him, not letting even a single second escape my memory. I loved him so damn much, i felt as if my heart could explode every time i saw him.
"Cold feet Mrs. Kaulitz?" Someone said as she grass shifted behind me.
I chuckled, instantly recognizing the voice. "Quite the opposite Mr. Kaulitz."
Tom sat down behind me, pressing his chest against my back. I leaned my weight into him, letting his arms fall around my sides. His lit cigarette sent whisps of smoke through the damp air as he took a long drag.
His right hand smoothed down the side of my hair. "It's late principessa" He then kissed the side of my head, his breath smelling of mouth wash and tobacco.
I looked up towards the moon, not knowing how to explain why i was awake because i myself wasn't quite sure why i was unsettled. "I think it's just nerves." I admitted, still looking towards the suns light reflected off the moon.
He shifted behind me, pulling me closer into his safety. "Remember the folklore about the moon?" He muttered closer to my ear, his arms wrapping tighter around me. "Mhm" I murmured delicately, my hand reaching up to trace the crossed pattern of his braids.
"The sun loved the moon so much he died every night just to let her breathe. That's how much i love you Francesca. I would die, every single night, just for you to exist." His usually strong voice seemed to falter, holding back pent up emotions.
I turned, letting our eyes meet for the first time tonight. "Really?" I whispered, letting my lips guide themselves to his in the darkness. "Absolutely." He whispered back, a tiny smirk appearing by his black metal lip ring.
My hands draped themselves over the sides of his face, feeling the warm touch of his beautifully tan skin. "I think they say it's back luck to kiss the night before your wedding." I muttered breathlessly, feeling desire overtake my body.
"Fuck luck." He said aloud before pushing his lips onto mine. He flicked the cigarette away, guiding his hands to my neck and caressing up to my cheek. I giggled, feeling him smile into my mouth as we kissed.
Suddenly water spritzed the entire right side of my body as the sprinklers popped up out of the ground. I gasped, feeling the frigid water begin to soak through my thin cotton robe and pajamas. I squealed as i stood up and tried to run towards the house, away from the freezing cold water soaking my clothes.
But suddenly, Tom's hand grasped mine and pulled me back into the safety of his arms. He picked me up so effortlessly and spun me around in circles as the sprinklers continued to pour down on top of us. I laughed from deep within my belly as he spun me around and my brain became jumbled and dizzy.
He finally stopped and set me down on the ground. "I love you." He chuckled, looking into my spinning eyes. His thumb traced down the healing scars on my face that were left from my father. His eyes traced over my mouth, waiting for me to say it back. By this time the oscillating sprinkler had made its way back to us, showering us with droplets.
I smiled brightly, feeling the drops drip down my cheeks. My feet took off underneath me as i broke through Tom's grasp around my waist. I squealed, running back towards the far side of the Kaulitz manor as Tom chased closely behind me. I felt him tug on the ties of my robe that fluttered from my stride so i let it slip off my shoulders and fall behind me.
"Fran!" Tom giggled, his breath heaving not too far behind me, so i quickened my pace. I peeled off my drenched tank top and threw it to the side. Tom stopped running as he spied the bare skin of my back.
I slowed down to a light jog, turning to see him still following me at a walking pace but watching me very... very closely. I slipped off my small cotton shorts, my panties following right behind them. My toes braced the edge of the pool and my arms positioned above my head as i dove into the deep end of our swimming pool. I was enveloped by the cool touch of the water, my heart still pounding in my chest.
I dove all the way to the bottom, allowing my finger tips to grace the rough lining of the floor. I heard the crash of Tom jumping in after me. I pushed my legs off the bottom and swam up to fresh air. I wiped the water away from my eyes, gasping a big breath of air into my tiny lungs.
I opened my eyes to Tom staring at me, treading water right across from me. I giggled, looking at his expression of bewilderment. Behavior like this was never expected of a good mafia girl and as long as i had been alive, that was all i had ever known.
My eyes traced over the edge of the water that revealed his clothes were left far behind as well. I smiled sheepishly, seeing a part of Tom, or any man for that matter, that i had never before seen. I watched and waited for him to drink up every ounce of my naked body, but he never did. His eyes stayed glued to my face.
"You're beautiful." He whispered.
His hand reached out and took mine into his. He dragged me towards him, the water that separated us becoming less by the second. His hot, muscular chest was finally pressed up against mine, a sudden burning and desire erupting from within me.
I wrapped my legs around him, listening to the patter of drips as they fell from his braids and down into the pool. His hand brushed my hair away from my face. "I know i've never been a good guy and i don't deserve to go to heaven. But with a girl like you i don't think I'll ever need it anyways." He nestled his lips delicately into mine, kissing me with a passion i never knew existed.
