"Please look into the background of Evander Alistair; he's our latest investor," Valeria said as she neatly tied her long hair.

Oh my, four exes. Truly womanizer. The majority of them are either models or well-known actresses. Valeria winces, realizing that none of them lasted with him. At alam mo kung ano ang laging dahilan ng break-up ng mga nagiging nakaka-relasyon niya? Time management.... kuno.

Valeria blinked her hazy eyes and let out a yawn. Sumulyap siya sa window at nakita niya ang higanteng building na nasa tapat ng kotse nila. Gosh, how many hours have passed since I slept?

"Fetch me a coffee," Valeria told her secretary and seized her bag from the side.

"Sige po, Ms."

She stretched her neck and examined herself in the side mirror. It's so evident on her face that she just woke up from a deep sleep. Hindi naman siguro ako naglaway 'no? Ugh.

She picked up the tiny bottle labeled ferrous sulfate. Valeria absolutely needs that medication; she is anemic. Bumukas ang pinto ng kotse at iniluwal si Suzzy na may hawak-hawak na coffee. Eksakto naman na nainom niya na iyon at akmang kukuhanin niya na sa kamay ni Suzzy ang coffee nang bigla nitong inilayo ang kamay.

She wrinkled her forehead, fixing her gaze on Suzzy. "Why?"

"Nag-t-take pa rin po pala kayo n'yan? Hindi ba sabi po ninyo---"

She massaged her temple. "I need this, Suzzy. You surely know what medicine this is, right? You're familiar with its purpose, right?"

Suzzy slowly nodded while looking at the small bottle. "Pero bawal po kasi kayo mag-take ng ganyan at iinom ng kape pagkatapos. Magiging mahirap po para sa katawan ninyo na mag-absorb ng iron---"

"You think I don't know that?" Valeria asked softly, snatching the coffee from Suzzy's hand. Agad niya iyon na ininom, hindi ininda kung gaano pa ka-init. When she lowered it, half of the liquid had already been consumed. Napapanganga at natulala na lang ang sekretarya niya. "Let's go."
