*This is in the dark world. Kris went to go patrol the castle town as they do on a weekly basis, checking in at every gate, starting with the northern gate, going to the western gate, to the southern gate, to the eastern gate. Kris went to the northern gate, and oddly enough, neither of the guards were there. They went to the western gate. No one. Kris was starting to get a little worried, and they saw that nobody was at the southern gate. Kris then booked it to the eastern gate. There they were. All of them. One of them saw Kris.

"C-Captain!! We need your help!! These weird things have just shown up and nothing we're going is getting rid of them!! Are they possibly the demons you told us about?!" The guard said in a panic. He then started hyperventilating.

"Okay, sit down and take deep breaths. If you need to lay down, go into the castle town. I'll let Asher, Miss Shinobu, and Prince Ralsei know you may need medical attention." Kris said. "You're looking a bit pale."

Kris then went to the fight, and Mitsuri joined in, assisting with it all.

"T-thank you, young lady!" The other guards stuttered once it was all over.

"No need to worry about it! Are you all okay?" Mitsuri said. "I saw one of your friends in the castle town, he looked a little pale, so I brought him in to get medical attention."

"We're alright, ma'am." The guards said.

"I'm good. That was weird though. Something felt off about those demons." Kris said.

"Yeah..." Mitsuri agreed.

They all went to the cafe to talk about it.

"What were those? You've seen a lot of things, Captain." One of the guards said.

"Great question, Steve." Kris replied. "I thought those were demons, but...something felt off...as if they had broken free from the control of Muzan Kibutsuji. No, those felt like little puppets, controlled by something. But they acted just like demons!!"

Kris shuddered at the thought that they had fought more puppets, due to their trauma with being like some sort of puppet.

"Very weird. Should we catch one for research purposes?" Mitsuri said.

"Oh absolutely." Kris replied. "I saw a couple of the little shits run away."

The next day, Kris went and looked for those things. They successfully snuck up on one, and caught it in a bag. It immediately started fighting. Kicking, punching, screaming, just generally squirming around. Kris dragged the thing into Ralsei's basement, and immediately put it in a cage. Asher came down.

"What is that and why is it in a cage?" Asher asked.

"I don't know, some kind of mutated demon? And because it tried to fight me." Kris answered.

"I have more questions than I did before." Asher muttered. He walked up to the weird thing in a cage, and stuck a hand in it.

"It's very aggressive, it tried to fight me when I caught it." Kris said. The weird creature tried to bite Asher, but he pulled his hand away. "Told you, dumbass." Kris smacked Asher on the back of the head.

Asher got mad, and then kicked Kris in the stomach.

"OW!!"

Kris and Asher then stared at the thing for about five minutes.

"I'm gonna spray it with a spray bottle. See how it reacts." Kris said, grabbing a spray bottle, labeled "piss."

"Why is that labeled piss?" Asher asked, looking a little disgusted.

"It's not actually piss, it's just water. Sniff it." Kris answered. "Just. Water. That's all. I just labeled it piss because I thought it was funny."

"Thank you for that clarification." Asher said.

"Couldn't get the label off." Kris muttered.

Kris then sprayed the thing with water. It hissed and backed away. It then started frothing at the mouth like a rabid animal.

"Ookay maybe we should put something else on this cage." Kris said.

"Good plan." Asher replied.

Just then, Tengen burst into the basement.

"KRIS WHAT THE FUCK!!" The sound hashira yelled at the young swordsman, right after punching them in the stomach, really hard.

Kris expressed their pain, while writhing on the floor in pain. Asher knelt down to provide medical attention, and found that Tengen just broke three of Kris's ribs.

"Uzui, why did you punch me?! I didn't even know that was a thing!! That was not my fault!!" Kris grumbled through the pain of their ribs having just been broken. "Asher can I...can I kick him in the balls as hard as possible?"

"Uh..."

Kris didn't even wait for a response. They kicked Tengen in the balls as hard as they could, and yelled "SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR FUTURE KIDS!!" As loud as they could.

Tengen found himself writhing on the floor in pain, and Kris and Asher standing there just staring at him.

"You shouldn't have punched me, idiot. I didn't know that was a thing. We'll leave Miss Shinobu to treat that one. She might not, really. You'll have to find a way." Kris said as they went back upstairs. Their chest still sort of hurt, right around where Tengen had punched them, because of the broken ribs.

Mitsuri noticed that they were in pain, so she asked if they were okay.

"I'm good, Uzui just punched me as hard as he possibly could." Kris said through the pain.

"Why did he do that?! Is it because of the weird creatures?" Mitsuri asked.

"Yeah. That was the reason. Thankfully Asher was down there to help." Kris answered.

"That's dumb. He should know it's not your fault." Mitsuri said, crossing her arms.

"I know, right? I told him that, and proceeded to kick him in the balls had hard as I possibly could, and my boots are metal." Kris said. "I must have done some damage."

"Oh."

Rengoku, Shinobu, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke came in.

"Those...don't smell like normal demons. They smell something like demons, but they also smell like darkners?" Tanjiro said out of confusion.

Kris immediately wrote that down on the PDA.
