Lillith watched Tara's taillights leave Charming and went home to an empty house, She sighed as it was now past midnight and Jax had not bothered to leave the clubhouse, she picked her cell phone up from the Kitchen counter and noticed numerous missed calls from him. Placing the phone back down she went to the bathroom, filled the tub, dropped her clothes carelessly on the floor, bunched her hair on top of her head, and sank into the hot water. The water was hot and soothing, she thought about how her marriage would no longer be necessary now with Tara out of the picture, and even though Lillith's love was growing for Jackson with each passing day, she knew they didn't have a future as man and wife, She couldnt allow her self to settle for a business arrangement anymore. She had given men who didn't love her far too much. So for self-preservation, Lillith was going to end the fake marriage tonight, even though the very act would destroy her.
Lillith brushed a tear away from her cheek, she was tired of feeling this stupid pain and weakness, she had always been an independent strong woman. She would black out the feelings she had for Jax like they never existed and move on with her life stronger than ever, she would make a life for herself and her sons and it would be a good life. She would do all these things tonight, she assured herself sadly. She closed her eyes and let the last tears for Jax fall before getting out of the tub. She dried herself off, walked into Jax's bedroom picked a white Reaper t-shirt up from his bed, and pulled it over her head, she slipped a black lace pair of panties on as she let the scent of Jax's t-shirt engulf her. After brushing her dark hair and looking at her image in the dresser mirror before she walked into the living room, Lighting a blunt she sat back on the cuddle chair and let her body relax as she built up the courage to break her own heart.
Lillith was curled up on the cuddle chair, feeling the buzz of her blunt, when the front door was thrown open. Jax came into the hallway like a hurricane, discarding his kutte on the coat hanger leaving him in a crisp white t-shirt and his baggy jeans. His reaper cap covers his growing golden hair. His forearms glinted in the dim light of the living room, his face was taught and angry, he crossed the room and pulled her up from the cuddle chair and roughly pulled her to her feet.
"Dammit, Lillith where the hell have you been." He yelled. "Why haven't you been answering my calls? You knew I wanted to talk about what happened this afternoon and I couldnt get away because Neeta brought the boys to TM!"
Lillith smiled at him her brown eyes twinkling from the blunt. "How are the boys, did they settle at your Mam's?" He paid no attention. His jaw was tight as he continued harshly.
"Your gonna do what ya told and listen to what I have to say, god dammit. I had a good reason for Ima coming to the clubhouse and it wasn't what your thinking and you would know that if your bad-tempered arse didn't tear out of the lot."
"Have you eaten today?" She asked quietly her dark eyes lovingly taking in the roughness of his features.
"What?" He asked, blue eyes surprised.
