we walk into the main room, seeing Ghost and Gaz sitting next to each other. Gaz's face had some bandages over his face making me feel awful.
"Alright," the captain starts as he stands next to Gaz, feeling soap behind me still.
"We understand what's happening, nothing to be embarrassed about. but we all feel like you need a break. a week worth holiday." I knew he was going to say that. I've been warned and this is it in action.
"I can promise you, Sergeant, I've had at least a year off due to these situations. its normal." Laswell's voice blears form the computer. I didn't think she would have been contacted, but I guess I should have known since she's somewhat a planner.
"I've had three months already." Gaz interrupts, making me feel somewhat better knowing he's fine.
"We understand, Y/N. its best if you take it." I felt my eyes sting from tears building up, seeing just how understanding everyone really is.
"Considering there's no record of your 4 years in the SAS of you taking leave. I'm pretty surprised." Ghost says, surprising me a little, thinking he was mad at me.
"That is partially the reason you need this." Price adds on.
"We can take you to either Chicago or back to the UK,"
"Chicago!" I cut off, not wanting to go back to the UK.
"Chicago please. I don't want to go back to the UK yet." I repeat myself in a calmer manner. there was somewhat silence after I said that, before Laswell speaks again.
"We can keep eyes on you better in Chicago anyway. I'll make sure there's more security at the hotel you will be staying at. and ill have someone following your every step." Laswell informs. it seems somewhat creepy and much, but I guess that what comes with this break.
"We had too many good soldiers die in these spans." she adds on, as if she senses my thoughts.
"We will have an aircraft come for you." Laswell starts, causing my body to tense up the smallest bit with her words. I don't want to separate again.
"We will provide civilian clothing, housing and food. just take your time to get yourself together, alright." she finishes. I nod at her words, knowing she can't see it.
as the captain turns the laptop off, I look up to him, trying to hold back tears.
"Sir, I don't want to separate again." I start to plead.
"it's not negotiable now." he answers as he walks past, in a bitter way.
"Captain," I call back, following right behind him, pushing past soaps grip.
"It wasn't negotiable either time I separated apparently, right."
"These are two totally different situations,"
"And either time I had no say, even when my contract was to be stations with 141." I spit back, knowing I'm acting like a child now.
"Going back to a civilian life the coming back will only make shit worse."
"Watch your mouth, Sergeant."
"I don't need to now, since my contract has been breached again."
"there's been no breaching this time." he says, getting me caught up to what I should say, feeling the team's eyes on us now.
"If anything, this is part of your contract. you're not fit to perform." he finishes before walking off, leaving me in place.
I have no idea why I just acted like that. was it the burst if emotions fighting out due to the fact, I'm not going to see the team again? of course it is. what else would it had been.
I take in a deep breath before walking down the hall to where the rest of my gear is, taking off the little gear I have at the moment, leaving me in my undershirt, pants and boots.
as I sit, packing the gear I used, I hear the door open and closed behind me, feeling whoever walk in than sit across from me.
"What do you want, Ghost." I say, knowing its him without looking up.
I keep my eyes down on my gear, making sure it's in good condition before leaving.
as I work on my own thing, I notice ghost taking his mask off, placing it next to him, hearing him move his gear around as if he's taking it off too.
within seconds, his gear is placed next to his masks, causing me to look up to his naked face.
"What do you want." I repeat myself.
he tilts his head slightly to the table next to us. that table. the embarrassment I felt that he caused. I hated him for a while. my eyes trail back to him as he starts to talk.
"I should have gone about it differently. but the thought of you was the only thing there." I still don't know whether I liked it or not, but its Ghost. Simon. I can't stay mad at him. I can't even say no to him.
I straighten myself up to face him, looking up at his face as he sits in front of me.
"it's just a week," he starts again.
"But a lot can happen in a week. look at last week." his voice is stern, yet a hint of worry still is present.
"I'm going to miss you." I announce.
"I know it's just a week, but it wasn't on my roster to leave again." I continue, looking into his eyes softly, knowing he's thinking the same thing as me at this moment. maybe not entirely.
I watch as he gets up and make his way to the door, hearing the lock in it. I keep my mouth shut as I keep my eyes on him as he walks to the table to the wall and leaning his hands on it behind his back. I couldn't control my eyes as they stray down his chest to his stomach, noticing his muscles through his shirt. I'm no good then man with breasts in front of them.
I know I've seen his naked body before, but I haven't had the chance to take it in fully.
I let my eyes trail too far down, noticing his growing bulge in his pants. can't say I'm not feeling the same way. I look back up to his face, seeing that he's being watching my eyes wonder.
"Do you want a rematch?" he suggests with a smirk, knowing exactly what he means.
my mouth couldn't contain a small smile and my body couldn't deny the request.
