Chapter 106

I jolt awake gasping.

"Are you alright?" Harrison asks, his voice groggy from sleep

"Yeah, I'm alright just a bad dream. Go back to sleep." I take a moment to catch my breath. I slowly lay back down, trying to fall asleep again.

The phone line rings ones again, I jump at the sudden noise. Not again I think to myself.
I look at Harrison who is fast asleep, can he not hear it?

I gulp getting up off my bed. I walk over to the phone and pick it up. "H-Hello?" The phone is silent for a moment.

"Tessa why don't you come back to me." Hayden's voice is deep and raspy, "I'll take care of you."

"No. You are never coming back into my life." I spit

"Are you sure?" He starts to laugh, a laugh that would curdle your blood.

The door bangs beside me. I gasp stepping back, my foot catches the carpet and I fall flat on my butt. The door continues to bang.

"H-Harrison!" I shout.

The door soon flies open and Hayden stands there a dark light shining from behind him. I can only see his figure almost black.

"HARRISON!" I kickly stand up and run from him and I run straight into Harrison.

Harrison grabs my arms, "Tessa, are you alright!"

"It's Hayden! He's back!" I shout, tears streaming down my face.

"Hayden? Where!" He ask sternly

"Right behind me!" I turn around to see no one there.

"But Tessa there's no one there.."

"But...but..." my voice trails off. "I..."

"Were you sleep walking?" Harrison asks

But everything felt so real. The phone. The door...I stare that the door that is locked shut.

"But I saw him earlier when I went grocery shopping." I tell him

"You did? How come you didn't tell me?"

"I thought I was just seeing things." I declared

"Tess, you have to tell me these things." Harrison continued, "You can't be hidding information like that."

I don't say anything and I just give him a right hug.

He doesn't say a word either and just scoops me up into his arms, I wrap my legs around him as he carries me back to bed.

He lays me down gently and puts the covers over me, "Now try and get some rest."

I nod and close my eyes, soon I feel him lay beside me and he pulls me into his arms.

My alarm rings

I groan with frustration as it felt like I was finally getting good sleep.

I turn it off and sit up in my bed trying to gather my thoughts, I turn to see Harrison still sleeping soundly, only the top of his head showing, his eyes peak over the covers.
