With our names being called, we stepped forward and approached the house and sat down on the chairs along with the others.
After everyone had taken a seat, confetti burst from the ceiling and flew down. The confetti were two-coloured: crimson and gold, with crimson representing Phoenixora and gold representing Lionardra. Loud cheers and applause achoed throughout the hall, as I smiled and clapped along.
As Professor Celtic cleared her throat, the hall was drowned with silence. With a smile, she explained about the history of Ebonmount.
After all that, it was time to head to the Lionardra dormitories. Dragging my luggage, I accidentally bumped into someone. Feeling really guilty, I immediately apologized. Then only, did I notice it was Eira.
We started some small talks while we approached our assigned dorms, only to find out we were going to live together! I was so happy and glad that my dorm mate was a familiar face.
As she opened the door with her key, we pushed opened the door and a cozy house-like room greeted us warmly.
"Oh my gosh. This is not what I imagined. IT'S TEN TIMES BETTER!!!"
Okay. I didn't know Eira was of that cheerful. But, I do agree with her. Even though it was not as majestic as the room I had back at the castle, it is still in fact really nice.
Still dragging my luggage, I opened one of the bedrooms and placed it beside my bed. And now, it was time to unpack my stuff.
My bedroom had this medieval vibe going around, with wooden frames, tables and chairs, and a simple little chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Thick dark-red curtains were dragged on the floor carpet, making it look more heavy than it actually is.
"Oh look, we have a piano in our dorm!" Eira screamed in delight.
After what seemed like forever, my stuff was fully unpacked and everything was in place. I went to the kitchen and pulled out a soda from the fridge. Resting on the coach along with Eira, we chatted away until the next bell rang.
Later on, the bell rang and we were off to class. I carried my books and sword, and went for swordsmanship class.
Barely on time, we reached class and placed our books down. With the wish blade on my hand, I stood beside her and placed it on the floor. That was when the professor had arrived.
"Good morning class. You can call me Professor Lightfoot, and I will be teaching you the art of the wish blade. Now, please hold your blades as we start class."
I reached for my blade and looked towards Professor Lightfoot. He wore a long emerald cloak along with a dark undershirt, and He looked neither old nor young.
"Alright. For our first lesson, we will learn how to shield and give a forward slash..."
Listening to his instructions, I tried to swing it around. However, the sword seemed to be disobeying my movements, almost making me drop it. It was then, when I heard his voice behind me.
"Be careful everyone, this is no ordinary sword. A wish blade does indeed have its own mind, and would only obey to those they think are worthy of."
I held up the sword once again in between my knees, and took a deep breath. At the count of 3, I swung the sword and slashed the air. Professor Lightfoot seemed to noticed my attack, and patted my shoulder after giving me a nod of approval.
I turned around and gave Eira a glance. She swung her sword and gave a good slash. Looks like she got the hang of it too.
After what seemed like a few seconds, class ended. I picked up my books and ran for my next class - Potion Brewery.
