I woke up to hear my alarm. Today was exam day, I really, really don't want to go. Please help. I slept in for not even 1 minute before my dad started banging on my door. He swung it open and started yelling. The only thing in my head was, "shut up, please..." I was tired. Being the teen I am I said, "Don't worry, I'm getting up. Just had to get a few more seconds of rest." It was meant to be a sarcastic comment but he took the wrong part too seriously.
"Rest? When your alarm goes off, you get up!"
"Oh my god..." I muttered under my breath.
"What was that?" He asked with a serious expression. I could barely keep a straight face, that's how funny he was.
"Nothing, don't worry about it." With that, he left. He stormed back and opened my door.
"OH AND DON'T THINK ME LEAVING IS AN EXCUSE TO GET MORE 'REST'!" And the he left again. He does that sometimes. I got out of bed and started getting dressed. Thing is, I still don't want to go to the exams. What if, I just don't. On last night's meeting, Ena and Mizuki mentioned Phoenix Wonderland. Why not go there with them? Only one problem, my mom has my phone. Time to get it back...
"Good morning, Mafuyu."
"Good morning, Mother." I said. She handed me a plate and said, "Have you heard about the horrible new case?" I shook my head.
"Ichika Hoshino, she was found in a dumpster last week. It only just got published on the new though." I went pale. That was the case.
"Hey Mafuyu," I looked to my dad. "Isn't Ichika your classmate?" I nodded.
"I was wondering why she wasn't at school..." I said. "Now I know why, how horrible." My body was extremely cold. Like I was the dead one, maybe I will be soon.
"This is why you should become a doctor. You can heal those who get hurt from monsters like the person who did this!" That just made my blood boil, so much for being cold.
-Time skip-
I was in front of the exam building, dreading the next 2 hours. What is my life, why am I doing this? I hate my younger self, this is all her fault. But also my mom's for taking what I said to the next level (by: Aespa). Whatever, I don't even care anymore.
I should probably stop making K-pop references (I won't) 😭.
