So we're actually doing this...

I click the go live button when Charlie said he was ready and I had the starting up screen up, playing light music as well. After 3.2k people joined I took down the starting soon screen but not before putting on my mask and glasses. I said hi to the stream and explained I'm going to be streaming with CG5 and then Charlie looked over and I looked at him too and we made eye contact.

I snapped out of the whole staring thing and asked "Charlie what exactly are we going to be playing again I forgot."

"We are going to be playing Mario Kart deluxe 8 then doing a Q&A till 11 when I have to work on a song with a friend."

"Right ok."

Charlie I'm not constantly banging my boyfriend I've just been busy with helping a friend I swear.

"Sure you are." He said laughing and god was I blushing like crazy. His smile, his laugh, his hair, and his style, it's all so perfect he is... Perfect. Fuck I'm obsessed over my best friends brother and she knows it. Agh I hate yet love it.

"Okay u/n you ready?"

"Huh oh uhh yeah I'm ready."

"Okay I'll load up Mario Kart."

"Okay." He said setting everything up.

"What the hell?" I said looking at chat for a second.

"What?"

"Chat is saying we're flirting."

Charlie rolled his eyes. "They always do that. Don't pay attention to them."

I nodded, feeling a bit embarrassed. We are friends, but I never thought anyone else would see us as a potential couple.

"Anyway, let's focus on the game," Charlie said, handing me a controller.

We spent the next few hours playing Mario Kart and laughing at each other's failed attempts to win. I couldn't help but feel a warm, fuzzy feeling in my chest every time Charlie leaned over to show me a new trick or when our hands accidentally brushed against each other.

Eventually we had ended the stream but Charlie's friends cancelled due to a family thing so we just continued playing Mario kart.

As the night came to a close and I was getting ready to leave and Charlie walked me to the door.

"Thanks for coming over n/n." he said with a smile.

"Thanks for having me." I replied, with butterflies in my stomach from him calling me that nickname and right before I walked outside Charlie gave me a hug. I tenced up a bit but after a bit I hugged him back. When we released from the hug it lingered.

"Thanks for coming over tonight, Y/n. I had a really great time playing Mario Kart with you," Charlie said with a smile.

I couldn't help but blush at his words. "Yeah, me too. It was a lot of fun."

We stood there for a moment, just looking at each other, until I noticed Charlie nervously fidgeting with his fingers.

"Charlie are you ok?"

"Yeah it's just... Would you wanna hang out again soon?"

"Yeah sure."

"Okay umm see you then stay safe."

"I'll try good night Charlie."

"Good night n/n."
