When they arrived home, "amnesiac" Zhou Shan was still thinking of what the old woman said earlier. He was not worried about his name but instead worried of his husband's thought of him. Does he think of him as what Lai mother'words were?

Zhou Shan sadly lowered his head.

Lai Long, who's attention are always on his wife quickly noticed his expression and probably his thoughts. His face changed and the moment they walked inside the room, Lai Long carried his wife over his shoulder like a bag of rice, locked the door, and stride to the bedroom. He laid his wife in the soft bed in a "not-so-gentle" way but being careful.

Zhou Shan looked at him confused but due to his previous thoughts, his eyes were unknowingly slightly watery which made his husband immediately feel guilty.

Lai Long kissed his wife's round eyes and apologized. "Sorry, baby. Did I scare you?"

"No, you didn't," Zhou Shan replied as he put his arms around his husband's neck. He continued, "I was just a little surprised by your actions."

"Hmm. Well, you will be more surprised by my next actions."

Before Zhou Shan could think more, he was gently pushed against the soft bed and got the view of his husband hovering above him, slowly taking off his clothes showing his strong, muscular, healthy wheat color chest.

Lai Long saw his wife becoming beet red while greedily looking at his body and felt extreme satisfaction.

"H-husband, it's still daylight..."

"Yes, so?" Lai Long teased his wife. Before Zhou Shan could retort, he heard his husband say, "this is a punishment for you overthinking things. Baby, the only person I care about forever is you, my love. Please do not overthink my love for you, for it is genuine and only for you."

When Zhou Shan heard these words, he became angry at himself for doubting his husband. Of course! Why would he even doubt his husband's care for him? It may be due to his previous experience, but now, he finally found his soulmate, his husband, he should leave all the bad experiences in the past and just focus on the present.

Zhou Shan's arms around his husband's neck tightened and he initiated the kiss which made his husband soft and hard(?).

Therefore, the consequences Zhou Shan got was to be served by his husband, their bed creaking from daylight 'till midnight.

Six months later, a lot had happened. Currently, Han and Dai is at their home seeking assistance for their escort agency.

"So, what is it this time?" Lai Long asked. Seemed like it is not the first time.

"Well, brother Long, we are escorting relief goods to the south. Moreover, there is an official that we need to safely bring there."

"The south? Doesn't it take three days to go there? Besides, there is currently an attack there?" Zhou Shan worriedly said.

The two soldiers felt guilty, but still mustered up the courage to ask them for help.

When the man heard the call, his originally cold face quickly softened and he dotingly smiled at the youth.

"How was your day?" The man asked.

"It was good. Those old men still pestered me but those little demons under me loves me. So, I told them to shoo those people off."

The man lovingly tap the youth's nose and said, "naughty."

"Hehe, what about you?"

"As always. They challenges me and wanted to exile me."

"Hmph! They dare!"

"Don't get angry. And don't go challenge them randomly like last time. If I hadn't arrived on time...."

If the man hadn't arrived on time, the youth may be really injured or worse, especially that time was not an ordinary angel but a powerful one. Although the little demon is a general, he's currently of no equal to that angel.

When the man felt the youth's arm limply slipped through his shoulder, his world seemed to have collapsed.

He repeatedly called the youth's name, calling him sweetly, intimately, yet the blood from the youth's mouth continued flowing and there was no heartbeat felt.

The man was crazily calling the youth, hugging him tightly. His eyes was unconsciously turning bright red, tears were falling from his eyes yet he felt nothing, empty. He did not even notice the group that was coming at them ready to strike him down.

Then, he heard,

"The demon is dead, great job everyone! One last and there will be no heavenly tribulation! Let's finish him quickly!"

Hearing them talk loudly and lowly against his love who's currently in his arms, the man felt for the first time an extreme emotion he never felt before. His clenched fists were shaking heavily, his eyes getting darker. It was different emotion with his youth. It was different from his usual feeling. He wanted to annihilate them all.

Heavenly tribulation? There's no need to wait! I'll bring it to all of you personally!

Zhou Shan was awaken by his husband, Lai Long, who's pecking his face and patting his back.

Zhou Shan asked, "is it morning already?"

"Not yet. We still have two hours."

Zhou Shan looked at his husband confused seemingly wanted to ask him why wake up early.

Lai Long immediately got the message and said, "baby had a bad dream. You were hugging husband so tightly."

Zhou Shan then realized that he's still hugging and that he's sweating.

"Do you mind telling husband what you dreamed of?"

"I don't remember much, but..."

Zhou Shan then started narrating some parts he remembered in his dream to his husband.

"Their story is sad, husband. What if that situation happened to us?" Zhou Shan couldn't help but ask.

"...if it does, then baby doesn't need to worry because I will do anything so that we'll be together always, never to be apart. Remember that."

Zhou Shan finally smiled. He went back to sleep after being comforted by his hubby.
