Short Bio:
Marionette was created by Henry Emily for FredBear's Family Diner, it was designed to protect children, mainly his daughter, but after her death, she possessed it, which made its face go from just rosy cheeks, to having two tear streaks down its face. The Marionette has been a staple of Fazbear Entertainment ever since, appearing in the first Freddy's, the FNAF 2 location, and the FNAF 1 location, although hidden. It is an eerie and mysterious figure that everyone even the Phone Guy fears. It was revealed in a teaser, although most missed it because you have to brighten up the image to see it. It is the one who gave life to the animatronics using it's paranormal powers. The Marionette is shown to be able to fly. In the early FNAF days, it was theorized it was named the Puppet Master. It was also believed an adult woman possessed it, either being William's wife, or one of the MCI's mother, mainly Golden Freddy's.

FNAF 1:
While not technically being in the first game, the second game confirms the Marionette is in fact in the FNAF 1 location, and VR confirmed there is a prize counter so it is assumed that's where it is. The scrapped Fazbear Frights story, also showed it being in the location with the main animatronics...although, in that story it's the 1985 location, rather than the 1993 one.

You actually have a chance to NEVER see the Marionette in gameplay. The Marionette hides in a music box in the Prize Corner, you have to wind it up because if you don't it'll come out and launch itself into the office and kill you. It can be seen slowly getting out of the box if you missed it, and sometimes will flash in the main hallway. When you hear "pop goes the weasel" start playing, it means it's coming. Marionette also appears in the minigames, where it gives life to the other animatronics. It is unknown how it does this, but it is the one who gave life. It is in two minigames, technically 3 if we count the jumpscare in Take Cake. In the Save Them minigame, it wanders around the place giving life to the DCI, and asks Withered Freddy to help, possibly meaning William had not killed the kids yet and they both tried to stop him, but failed.
