the very next morning, hari had already decided to take responsibility for her foolish actions and look for a job that could possibly make her financially stable enough to go through pregnancy.

after voicing her thoughts and worries to minju, the girl convinced her to not abruptly end her pregnancy with an abortion when minju would support her emotionally or financially if that's what was stopping her. hari still has no idea what she would do without minju, she was there for her at her lowest when no one stood by her side and up until today she continues to be her comfort.

hari tightly clutched the trasparent folder where her curriculum was kept safely, her sweaty and trembling hands reaching out for a wisp of hair that had fallen out of her ponytail and tucking it behind her ear before she fixed the cardigan that she made sure was buttoned all the way up, since she wouldn't want to look unprofessional or anything at such an important job interview.

after making researches for most of the night, she found an open spot as an employee in a company that offered a well paid position and that's exactly what she was searching for.

"ms.cha hari?" a dimpled boy not too younger than her called for her name and she swore she felt a wave of anxiety wash over her upon the realization that it was now her turn, walking past the girl that went before her that didn't seem in the best conditions, and it didn't exactly help her calm down.

she took a deep breath and nodded her head as a way to reassure herself before pushing the door open by wrapping her slender fingers around the circular handle, entering the spacious and illuminated office decorated by a wall made completely out of glass that displayed the landscape of the busy streets of seoul.

in front of her was seated sunghoon whose eyes were focused on analyzing the profile of the previous candidate he met, discarding the stapled together papers before finally raising his gaze to get a glimpse of whoever walked through the door only for his mouth to fall wide open.

she looked so heavenly, her chocolate hair tied into a high ponytail that only left two thin, shorter strands to frame her face, adorned by some light and natural-looking make up, rocking a white cardigan with black decorations and a pair of loose, cotton pants that increased size towards the end.

it was her, the girl from the one night stand that he's been searching for so long and that seemed to bother his mind at any moment of the day, standing before him. there was something about the way she talked, the way she carried herself, and the way her eyes would turn into crescent moons whenever she broke out into a giggle or how her chocolate, silky strands would cascade down her shoulder so perfectly, that seemed to have woken up something in his brain.

the boy immediately grabbed the file containing her infos and ran his irises over it, feeling like something from above must've blessed him for him to have found her so easily. 

hari was about to die inside, standing in front of the man she thought she'll never see again that was also the father of the baby she was currently carrying and he wasn't even aware of that, his face appearing quite relaxed while she was about to collapse on the floor from how quickly her heart was beating.

how is she even gonna deliver such news to him when he might become her superior? she doesn't even wanna begin thinking about what hell would break loose if anyone found out that she is carrying the baby of the company's future heir. that is, if she gets the job obviously.

"you must be cha hari." the girl quickly nodded her head as she took a seat on the leather chair in front of his work desk, tightly clutching the material of her pants with her sweaty hands while letting her foot bounce up and down in a nervous manner. she observed him scan the document she previously handed him, a stern look on his intimidating features that seemed nothing like the him she remembered from that night.

"according to your cv, you attended prestigious schools and graduated with top grades, why would you apply for such a low position?" the brunette cleared her throat at the question, her eyes anxiously wandering around the room which didn't pass unnoticed by sunghoon before her pink-ish, kissable lips parted. "i've always been interested in this company and its products, so even if the position i'm applying for isn't the ideal one, i believe i could contribute in making this brand grow more."

hari lied straight through her teeth, she wasn't even aware this company existed until a few hours prior, but she is desperate for extra money at the moment so she's determined to get this job no matter what.

sunghoon couldn't help but sigh as he fought the urge to hire her just over his crush since, not only would it be unprofessional, but it would also get in way of a potential relationship with her.

but if she's qualified, it won't do anyone no harm, right?

guys i would literally eat any job interview up with that answer (i'm not even old enough to work)
