The sound of my front door being opened is soon followed by a familiar voice. "I've got ice cream, bitches!" Larray shouts into the house. "Where is everyone?"

The dogs immediately start barking and take off from where they were sprawled across the end of my bed, darting out of my room and down the hall. I roll my eyes in amusement before yelling back. "I'm in my room and Mason and Vi are upstairs!"

"Children!" Larray bellows. "I have ice cream!"

Footsteps immediately sound on the stairs from the second floor and Mason and Vi's voices clash over each other as they talk a million miles an hour to determine what kind of ice cream Larray brought. It's not an uncommon occurrence for Larray to invite himself over, and the twins in particular enjoy his visits because he often brings something fun with him. Usually, it's food, but last week, he brought a cat. Chandler and Joey were not impressed.

Once the twins have settled with their ice cream, Larray saunters into my room and throws himself on the bed beside me. "Hey, hoe," he mumbles, burying himself into my blankets. "What're you doing?"

"Editing a video." I focus my attention back on my laptop, ignoring Larray when he peeks at my screen.

"What kind of video? Did you accidentally start any fires?" Larray sniggers when I shove his head away from me.

"I don't always cause accidents." I type two more notes into my laptop before closing it and settling my gaze on my friend. "It's the vlog from last weekend when we went to Syd's show."

"That was a fun night," Larray sighs happily, his eyes blinking shut.

I reach out to poke him, grinning when he swats my hand away. "How come you didn't tell me how hot Matt is?"

Larray's eyes immediately fly open and he sits up like a rocket. "Sturniolo? You've seen him online, didn't you know he's hot?"

"Obviously." I roll my eyes, adjusting to sit cross-legged. "But he's way hotter in person."

"You met him?" Larray gasps, inching closer to me. "Spill."

"I took Chandler and Joey to the dog park this morning, and he was there. It started thunderstorming, so he drove me home." I shrug, pulling at a loose thread on my blanket. "It wasn't long. He seems nice."
