Reminder : Eun-mi and Yo-han aren't technically together. They're fake dating to give the public what they want but they do have real feelings for each other. So really, just consider this a test of Yo-han's willpower to not give in and date Eun-mi, for real, even though everyone says he should and doesn't get why he won't just date her.

THE NEXT MORNING
SUPREME COURT (Yo-han's Office)

"Yo-han, care to explain why Ga-on is in your office while I'm around?"

"I think my recent string of kindness is still affecting me, honey." Yo-han told Eun-mi with a touch of sarcasm in his voice.

Eun-mi rolled her eyes at him, but the blush on her face was very noticeable. Ga-on raised a brow at the sudden pet name and shift in tone in the two's relationship but didn't dare question it in front of the same woman who beat him up and was able to do it again. Today Eun-mi was wearing leather red stiletto heels, a forest green pencil skirt, and an off-white blouse with red roses and the stems over the material. Ga-on spotted the sapphire butterfly necklace from the party a few weeks ago around her neck before he noticed Yo-han staring at him with annoyance and a thin layer of hatred.

"Can you not stare at my girlfriend while I'm in the room?" Yo-han asked him with irritation all over his face.

Before Ga-on could question it, Eun-mi smacked Yo-han's shoulder with a folder and a frown on her face.

"Will you stop it?" Eun-mi asked him. "You don't constantly have to act like we're together. Plus, it's just Ga-on. His opinion isn't important enough for anyone to ask."

Ga-on couldn't tell if it was sad or somehow hopeful that Eun-mi's harsh words were slowly starting to bother him less. Ga-on turned his attention to Yo-han, who was drinking a cup of coffee, while Eun-mi was thumbing through a few folders in her arms. Ga-on shook off his confusion and returned to the reason why he came to Yo-han's office.

"You two were the ones who kidnapped Jang Ki-young, weren't you?" Ga-on asked them.

"I needed to have a chat with him, and then Yo-han wanted to talk to him. That's all it was." Eun-mi told him without looking up from her folders.

"What kind of chat? "Let's get our story straight to con the entire country. Otherwise, you'll be in danger too." Is that it?" Ga-on asked her in that high and mighty way that made Eun-mi want to punch him in the face again.

"And what did you tell your cop friend to make her forgo her oath to uphold the law in order to help you?" Eun-mi asked him with a pointed look. "You act like you never did anything improper in your life, delinquent. Are you that high up on your high horse that you can't see that you're hardly any different from us?"

"Eun-mi, play nice before he goes running to HR with tears in his eyes. We're too busy to be dealing with them." Yo-han told Eun-mi in a gentle tone. He then looked at Ga-on with a bored look on his face. "There was truth in the message, although there was some sugarcoating. Happy?"
