No. I didn't go find another guy to eat. I wanted to make them jealous of whatever we were talking about. I roamed around the backyard alone and I spotted Heather at a distance.
What the fuck is that whore doing here? She saw me and she stomped her way towards me. Here we go.
"Hey, little shit."
"Hey, ass face." "What are you doing here?"
"Liam invited me." "Liam? Invited you? Hah! What a joke! You don't belong here!"
"I'd agree. But I was forced to come here."
"Like I'd believe." "I wonder the same thing." I crossed my hands and I glared at her. She did too.
"I think you should leave. It'll spare the embarrassment around here. People see you as a nobody and I don't think they need to see some homeless wreck here."
"They saw me. But it's safe to say they like me better than you." I grinned. "Bitch." "Agreed."
"Leave, now. I think you need to babysit your sister. Cause, you know your parents can't do it?"
I clenched my jaw. I so wanted to punch her in the face but I knew better than to cause a scene at Liam's house.
"Shut your trap, don't talk like that to me or I'll have your foot down your throat."
"Make me."
Fuck. How much I wanna hurt her. Don't lose it, don't lose it.
"Leave her alone, Heather." Caleb stood next to me and glared at her.
"Please! You're siding with her! What the fuck happened to you?!" "She's my friend. So back the fuck off."
"You choose her over me?" "A million times over."
I stared at him but he had his eyes fixed on her. His fists were balled on the sides and his breathing grew heavier.
"I can't believe you'd go with this and pick this low life. That's a shame, Caleb. I'm so much better than she is!"
"I highly doubt that." I stood still, watching this exchange. She turned her gaze back to me and scoffed. "You don't deserve him." She said.
She turned away and walked back to her plastic friends, stomping her feet.
Caleb turned to me and he smiled. "You okay?" "Always."
"I know she's been a pain in the ass." "She's in love with you." "I know. I just don't care." I laughed. "Well, that's one way to reject someone." He shrugged.
"I thought you were gonna find some man to eat?" He raised his eyebrows. "I want to. But then again, I'm tired." He chuckled.
"So you'd pick me a million times over?" I asked, teasing him. "Yeah. I mean, she's a fucking bully. No one likes a bully. I know you don't like me or Liam but you're worth it."
I furrowed my brows and I smiled. "Thanks I guess. But I'm way past fights and shit. I just wanna...I just wanna have a good time."
"Come on, let's walk around and talk."
"Alright."
We walked away from the house and roamed on the soft grass. I'd have to mention Liam's backyard was fucking big he could even have a farm.
"Alright. I'll ask you the questions." I said.
"Shoot."
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Jumping into it already? No. I don't. I'm bouncing here and there. Casual is fun."
I chuckled. "Agreed. Do your parents know about me and the...tragic incident?"
