The adventure of life is to learn. The purpose of life is to grow. The nature of life is to change. The challenge of life is to overcome. The essence of life is to care. The opportunity of life is to serve. The secret of life is to dare. The spice of life is to befriend. The beauty of life is to give.

Yet, Sumire didn't feel really the beauty of the word now.

Sumire had an epiphany for the very first time that she was trapped in a vicious cycle, a never-ending masquerade where she found herself twirling in a lavish ballroom, surrounded by all her troubles swirling around her until they eventually overwhelmed her.

She came to the stark realization that she was merely going through the motions, putting on a facade of happiness and elegance while deep down feeling suffocated by the weight of her unresolved issues.

Does the acclaimed and revered Genius Prodigy truly lead a life that reflects reality? It is evident that regardless of her response, it would be met with scepticism. After all, she resides in a lavish abode and hails from a privileged background.

Given her affluent upbringing, why would she endure any form of suffering? Despite the number of friends and acquaintances she may have, she ultimately carries the burden of her struggles alone.

Consequently, she chooses to dismiss all troubles, opting for the easier route of turning a blind eye and donning a facade.

3rd Person POV:

Sumire and Gouenji strolled gracefully side by side, their footsteps synchronized with the rhythm of the morning sun's radiant glow. Gouenji's piercing gaze fixated on Sumire, his eyes filled with a hint of skepticism, as if searching for answers hidden within her enigmatic aura.

Despite his persistent inquiries about her well-being, Sumire nonchalantly brushed them off with a simple yet enigmatic response, "I'm fine." Her words left Gouenji yearning to unravel the mystery behind her emotions, as he wondered what lay beneath her composed exterior.

"Oh, look who's playing the lone wolf card," he scoffed with a smile, rolling his eyes as they reached the school gates.

Sumire casually retorted, the sound of her heels echoing on the ground, "I learned it from the best, darling." she mused playfully, her cane clicking against the pavement rythmically.

Gouenji stared at her in disbelief, realizing she had just thrown his own words back at him. He chuckled in amusement before falling into step beside her, heading towards the group where Aki greeted them with a wide grin.

"Aki, you are positively glowing today," Sumire remarked with a grin, Kazemaru and Kidou nodding in agreement as they gathered around.

Ichinose, looking a bit disheveled with his tousled hair, also joined the group, prompting Sumire to tease him, "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, huh?"

Ichinose, with a smug grin plastered on his face, took a moment to adjust his perfectly styled hair, while casually waving at Endou as the brunette approached. However, it was impossible to ignore the fact that Endou seemed unusually gloomy, like someone had sucked the sunshine right out of him. He was definitely not his usual vibrant self, and it left everyone wondering what could have possibly dampened his spirits.

"Why're you making such a face?" Aki asked as she saw Endou.

"It's useless."

Endou said twice, looking down with a blank face. Sumire's head snapped towards him in disbelief. The radiant and cheerful Endou, the epitome of sunshine, was down? It felt like a catastrophic event unfolding before her eyes. The shock and concern washed over her, leaving her speechless and desperate for answers.
