Amelia's POV

Amelia could hear the sound of blaring music vibrating the walls and drunk students shouting and chanting through the dormitory halls.

She cracked her eyes open and took a quick glance around the room.

Not just any room. Sebastian's room.

He had taken her to his room. And she slept with him. In his room.

The reminder of it all made her entire body tingle with nerves, but she knew with the events that had unfolded that day, they both needed the comfort. The reassurance that they were both there. That they were both safe. That for now, everything was okay.

But the more her mind lingers on how his fingers were intertwined with hers, how she was pressed completely flushed against him as he held her so tightly that she was going to vanish into thin air if he didn't, how their legs were tangled together under those blankets, his face pressed into the crook of her neck, even how his fingers were under her shirt and caressed gentle strokes on her back and waist, the more she felt like something had shifted between them.

But what?

It all made her feel something she hadn't felt before, and she wasn't sure how to think or go about it. As though she had discovered something new that she was still trying to figure out.

He was fanning the flame in her soul hard enough to set her ablaze.

She was feeling so many unknown emotions, too many emotions to deal with.

She desperately needed to wash them away for a bit with some Firewhiskey.

But it was when she began to sit up from her position that she realized that Sebastian was already gone.

Did he regret bringing her in here? Did they cross a line in their friendship that made him uncomfortable? Did she do something that made him uncomfortable?

Maybe she should leave. Pretend that this never happened between them. The last thing she wanted was to ruin the most important friendship in her life.

She pulled herself out of the covers, and as she looked down at herself, the blush in her cheeks came back in full bloom.

She was still in his clothes, and not even just that, but she was also without her brassiere with her nipples pebbling through the shirt.

He didn't see that, did he?

She didn't want to think about it. She was already feeling sick enough that he might've regretted all of this.

But as she began to pull herself out of the bed, she looked over at the nightstand and her pulse skyrocketed all over again.

There laid out for her were a bowl of strawberries, a Wiggenweld, a green ribbon with silver trims, and a note.

She picked up the small piece of parchment and read it to herself:

Taking a shower. Make sure you eat these and drink another Wiggenweld before you go get ready, especially if you plan to drink tonight. Also, wear this tonight instead of your black bow. While the black looks good, I think you look better in green. I'll come pick you up from your dorm.
