Amelia's POV

Tonight was nothing short of eventful.

Heartbreaking. Chaotic. Death-defying.

If you told Amelia prior to the party that she'd be kissing Sebastian in the middle of a makeshift battle arena by the end of the night, soaking wet, covered in his blood and sitting in a giant, black puddle of water, from his own spell no less, she would've thought you were under the Hallucinating Curse yourself.

But after everything he said, all while gazing into her eyes with such care and sincerity, the remaining self-control in her snapped like a vine, kissing him as if her life depended on it.

He didn't even hesitate, returning the kiss just as passionately. Intensely. Desperately.

Like they were making up for lost time.

Feeling his soft lips move against hers gave her a blinding sense of euphoria, the flame in her soul building up to an inferno that she no longer had the desire to douse.

Overwhelmed with the intense emotions that washed over her like crashing waves, her salty tears that fell from her eyes mingled within the kiss. He deepened it in response, tenderly cradling the back of her neck with one hand and gently stroking her skin with his thumb.

The world around her faded in the background and all her surroundings melted away as she lost herself in everything that was Sebastian.

The longer their lips danced, the fiery passion that burned within her only intensified, leaving her yearning for more.

When she felt his grip start to tighten, it was both of them.

Sebastian's hands slid down to her hips, pulling Amelia on top of him in a straddle that hiked her dress up slightly.

As their lips move in perfect synchronization, his hands glide up her back and claw the fabric of her dress, pulling her in a tight embrace as a deep rumble emanates from his chest.

Her hands found their way up to his wet brown locks, gripping onto them for dear life as he endlessly devoured the soft noises that escaped her.

Neither of them cared about how soaked and bloody they both were as they released their inner desires and longing in each other's arms.

But Amelia knew they had more important tasks ahead of them. Not tonight, but the events to come.

She reluctantly pulled away from the kiss, forehead resting against his as both of their eyes opened and locked on to each other with heavy-lidded gazes.

"Amie...?" Sebastian whispered worriedly, as if he was in a dream and was about to wake up.

Amelia swallowed, "I don't... I don't think this is something we could continue doing after tonight... Not until everything else is over with-"
