Meeting a weird writer with a unique point of view in life and mysterious background is the farthest from Rindou Haitani's expectations after a certain real-life Barbie took his attention. But what are the odds that t...

On that day, the air was so fresh. The warmth from the morning sun relaxed my nerves. The sound of the leaves outside sounded like music to my ears. Mix that with the sound of the waves from the lakeside near our humble home and my days were complete.
"Sarina, Julius said Dad is on his way."
"Okay. Will you please help me arrange the plates outside?"
"Sure." Just as Sarina was preparing the silverwares by the kitchen sink, she dropped a spoon. "I'll pick it up." As the man said, he picked up what she dropped and put it in the sink, making her hum.
"Lucas, I'm pregnant, not a cripple. You're overreacting."
"No. I call it protective." The man replied as he kissed her forehead and leaned down on her tummy. "Is Pops right, Lucian?"
Watching her husband, Sarina smiled. Lucas gave her a wink and a smile before walking to their backyard and started preparing their dining table with the beautiful view of the lake and peaceful skies.
"Found you, Audric!" She turned to Julius playing with her eldest son, Audric. The playful Uncle laughed out loud as he lifted the two-year-old kid and tickled his sides.
"Waaahhh! Stop it, Uncle Jul!"
"Julius, please change Audric's clothes. I bet he's all sweaty again when he had just taken his bath." The boy's father said.
"Ya' hear that, little fella? Your Pops said you stink." The blonde Uncle teases the kid while pinching his nose. The green-eyed little boy only giggled. The sight of the three made the sole woman smile.
Moments later and Atlas arrived. The proud grandfather played with Audric for a while before they had lunch. That day, they had a simple birthday party for Lucas. They decided to keep it small and simple. All to enjoy the beautiful moment together privately.
It was the life I have always dreamed of. Peaceful, quiet, and happy. Right now, it has been three years since the incident that traumatized me. But I moved on. My life went on. I was happily married to my other half, Lucas. Our eldest, Audric S. Herrman, was only two years old, then. And we were expecting our second boy. And my beloved Lucas wanted to name him, Lucian.
My husband worked with Dad as his business partner. Me? I chose to be a housewife to take good care of my husband and our little boys. And it was the best decision I made. Because I was able to spend more time with the family that Lucas and I were building. We have never been happier.
"Seems like he's asleep." whispered Lucas before tucking in their eldest in his bedroom. The couple gently walked out and went to their bedroom a few steps away from Audric's. They have been married for two years, but her husband still never changed. He would still tuck his wife under the sheets before going on his side of the bed to hug her from behind.
