Chapter 25: Joining the Akatsuki ~ The Girl With a Sharingan

(Lily's P.O.V)

"It's....a sharingan!! How could my right eye have a sharingan!?"

I stare at my reflection in shock. After a few minutes of staring, I wash the blood off my face.

"What am I gonna do about this? I won't be able to control it.."

I look around to check if anyone is near. When I know that the coast is clear, I quickly change out of my kimono and back into my normal clothes, then put the kimono into a scroll. I decided to put my hair up into a ponytail with some of my bangs covering my right eye. (Like Ino, but the bangs goes to the top of her mouth and ponytail goes to middle of the shoulder blades) I'll keep it like this until I can fully control it.

"I can't tell Sasuke about this yet... Wait, Sasuke! What happened with him and Itachi!? I'd better get back to the others and find out!"

"What took you so long, Lily? And what's with the different hairstyle?"

Jugo asks as I walk up to him and Karin.

"I wanted to change out of my kimono, and it took longer than I thought it would. And I just felt like changing it."

I reply and Jugo nods.

"So those two are still at it, huh?"

I ask as I look at the still fighting Suigetsu and Kisame.

"Yeah, they never stopped once. They're both idiots if you ask me."

Karin says with an annoyed look on her face.

"Quit wasting time."

We all look over at Zetsu who pops out of the ground in between Suigetsu and Kisame.

"Tsk. We're not wasting time."

Suigetsu says as he puts his sword on his back again.

"So, it's over?"

Kisame asks and Zetsu nods. Jugo, Karin, and I run up to the others.

"What about Sasuke? Is he okay?"

I ask.

"He's fine. Sasuke won the battle against Itachi."

The four of us sigh in relief.

"And... Where is he?"

"He's already been moved to a safe place."

Zetsu answers.

'Why do I have a hard time believing that..'

"What kind of safe place?"

Karin asks.

"An Akatsuki hideout that is in the East."

'I though so... That place again... Where this all started.'

"You should all head there. The Konoha ninja will be coming here shortly. You know how to get there, right, Lily?"

"Yeah I remember."

"And how do you know this?"

Karin, Suigetsu, and Jugo ask.

"Let's just say that it's where I met Orochimaru. Now come on let's go, and try not to fall behind."

(Sasuke's P.O.V)

After Madara tells me the truth about Itachi, I go outside to the others are waiting. I see Lily and the others sitting on some boulders by the water. I stand on a boulder while thinking about my brother.
