"Will we be required to continue with the same agency we worked with this year for our senior internships in a few weeks, or can we request a transfer?" A moment of quiet reflection followed before dark eyes narrowed in consideration. The teacher's lounge was empty aside from Aizawa and his blonde problem child. The fiery teen had asked to speak with his permanently exhausted home room teacher after the last exam for the day ended.

"I'm not aware of any specific contract to keep students at the same agency for both advanced internships. However, unless there was a specific issue you are generally expected to stay at the same one. It's only happened twice and both times it was the supervising agency that requested the change. Has your supervisor indicated that she would like you to be reassigned?"

"No. This is something I want to do for myself." Katsuki knew how odd his request was. Which was why he was making it in private and came prepared.

"Well in that case, I suppose we would need to secure a different agency that is willing to take you on and make sure there is no misunderstanding with the Tower about the switch." Pinching the bridge of his nose in irritation, the tired underground Hero prepared for the headache to come following his students' seemingly random request. He may claim to not like his students, but he cared for each of them deeply and knew them well. If the blonde before him was asking calmly like this it was because he HAD thought it through, so there was no reason not to fulfill his request.

"I talked to Best Jeanist about it already and he's willing to take me on for the last year in the final internship. Don't know why he didn't take an intern for the last round but he seemed happy about the idea of me coming back for some reason. I also talked to Spector and Flurry and they don't mind me switching. Easier for them to manage just the Nerd anyway. I only need the school's approval to switch from Might Tower to the Jeanist Office." Crossing his arms, the ruby-eyed youth tried not to lose his temper with his teacher. Annoying questions aside, he really didn't want to get into the true reason behind his request for a change but he wasn't sure he would be afforded that option.

"I would expect nothing less from one of my top students. But WHY do you want to change agencies? You were quite vocal last year during selection about NOT wanting to go back to Jeanist Office. That's why you and Midoriya were assigned to Flurry at Might Tower. Now you're telling me the opposite so I'm going to need a reason." The dark Pro had a suspicion this would happen once his number one problem child was cleared to return to everything pre-Darkside. However, he wouldn't be letting the explosive teen off that easily. Shota was well aware that his two most promising students were both struggling in their own ways to reach a balance between their professional ambitions and their personal feelings. He wanted to be sure this choice was a properly considered strategy and not a well disguised effort to run away. "Do you want to change or do you just want to be separated from Midoriya?"

Knowing it would do no good to resist, Katsuku sighed heavily before answering as truthfully as he could. "I don't fu- freekin know. Hound Dog says we seem to be making more progress in training now that we aren't together all the time and I want us both to be the best Heros in all of Japan. Better than even All Might in his prime. If that means switching back to Jeanist then it could be worse. I just hope he doesn't try to tell me I have to do that shit to my hair again. I can deal with itchy pants, but the hair is where I draw the line." A soft chuckle from the listening teacher was a slight surprise and caught the scarlet-eyed teen off guard.

"Sounds like you've thought this through. I'll contact the Tower and let them know and arrange a transfer to Jeanist for when the new internships start in May so they can prepare for you. You understand that once the transfer goes through there will be no going back, right? Not with the nature of the internships for the last year." In year three students will alternate spending two full weeks a month at their assigned locations and 2 weeks at UA. They will attend online lectures three times a week while away and when they are on campus classes will be two hours longer than usual. It was a tradeoff the students in the Hero course voted for just a few days ago before final exams started. It was a unanimous decision that would allow students to graduate 100% prepared to start working full-time right away.

"Yes sir."

"Very well then I-" A fragile looking Yagi burst into the teacher's lounge interrupting the only two occupants and their conversation. "Toshinori? What is it?"

"They found him! Young Midoriya's father found Igishi and they managed to capture him and what seems to be most of his organization. Nezu is calling an emergency meeting of all the teachers to make arrangements so he can join in the interrogations." Nodding in understanding, Erasehead stood followed by his student.

"Bakugo, go back to the dorms. I will put in that request for you today after the meeting. It is up to you if you want to tell anyone or not but they will find out eventually so I suggest you at least tell Midoriya so it doesn't come as a surprise." Walking to the door the ever exhausted Hero turned back to the younger blonde. "I'll fill this guy in too so don't worry about it and get going."

"Thank you sir." After grabbing his bag, Katsuki followed his teachers out of the lounge before heading to Height's Alliance to join most of his classmates and consider how and when to tell the Nerd. And maybe panic. If they found the bastard that sent the bitch to attack Deku then Uncle Hizachi will be here soon. FUCK! I know he won't be mad at me. It wasn't my fault. Right? But I promised when we started dating that I would keep Izuku safe and I fucking failed. HARD! How the hell am I supposed to face him? I can barely handle seeing Auntie even now!

As luck would have it, the fire breathing Pro would be visiting his son and honorary-son the very next day. The meeting between himself, his ex, and his ex's parents went far better than the blonde anticipated. It was awkward and nerve wracking telling one of the few adults he completely respected the details of what had been going on with himself and Deku the last few months, but ultimately necessary. Despite the feeling of sickness that still lingered in his stomach. Somehow the international Pro was neither disappointed nor angry with either teen. In fact, he seemed rather pleased with how both were handling things. It had actually gone smoother than the first meeting with the boys and Inko after Deku's return. So well in fact, the man requested Hound Dog allow his son to move back to the dorms and rejoin his class full-time now that internships had ended for the year. There was only one week left in second year and he wanted the youth to finish with his friends.

Two hours after the meeting with Dragon Fire, Bakugo changed out of his uniform in his room before following Iida, Uraraka, and Todoroki over to the teacher's dorms. It was a Friday afternoon and everyone else was busy getting ready to hang out in the commons and talk about their hopes for their last year in high school. Another hour later and the quartet plus Deku all carried various boxes of personal items to Heights Alliance as they helped the class's missing Broccoli Lord finally move back after what felt like years of separation.

When the group entered the front doors they were assaulted with cheers and cat calls as if they were soldiers returning from a medieval war and the enthusiasm naturally brought tears to the greenette's eyes. The four voluntary pack mules and their leader carefully placed the boxes in their arms off to the side of the room as Ayoama and Ojiro approached Izulu carrying one of Sato's well known masterpieces. Just looking at the layers of strawberry cake sandwiched with rich vanilla whipped frosting had more than half the class salivating in anticipation. "Welcome back mon ami!"

Another chorus of cheers and various greetings had the successor of One for All creating a puddle of happy tears on the mint colored carpet as he smiled brightly at all the love he was being showered with. These people were his family, even if not by blood, and while he'd enjoyed having lunch with them every few days over the last month he still missed them. All of them.

The combination of the new medication he had been taking and the sessions talking with the school's resident therapist as well as the unofficial one had all led to several realizations over the last few weeks. Not the least of which was that he successfully managed to come to terms with the actions he'd taken while he was away as well as the underlying feelings he had that caused him to run in the first place. Midoriya's mind was finally at peace again.
