Arnav woke up to Ashi caressing his head. He smiled. As he always did whenever he saw her. Ashi smiled back. She leaned on to give him a peck. Arnav pulled her closer, making space for her. His heart still fluttered the same around her. He tucked her bangs behind her ear to get a closer look of the beautiful eyes of his wife.
"I love you, Ashi," The words fell out with ease. For him, her smile was like the sunbeam that brightened up his day.
"I love you too, Arnav," Ashi caressed his face. For her, his voice was like the melody that soothed her heart.
"How was the meeting?"
"Got the contract."
Arnav kissed her on forehead. "After all who denies Aashika Singhania?"
"Her husband, may be!" Ashi raised her eyebrows. Aryan had told her about how Arnav yelled at him and refused to have his meal because he was working. She had marched inside the room being mad at Arnav, but she saw Aniket sitting there beside a sleeping Arnav and calmed down. Aniket had left after she came.
"What did I do?" Arnav smiled a little.
"You were not supposed to work!"
That reminded Arnav of the conversation he had with Aniket. His smile faded away. Ashi saw that and reached for his hands.
"Arnav,"
Before Arnav could say anything, Aryan barged inside the room.
"You know he is getting dizzy spells again, Bhabhi," Aryan complained the moment he walked in. He didn't even care that his Bhabhi was still in his Bhaiya's arms.
The couple pulled away from each other and straightened up themselves. They were so used to the boys barging in at such times that they stopped getting surprised now.
"And who gave you the permission to work, Bhaiya. You are supposed to rest."
"Permission?" Arnav raised his eyebrows. "From whom?"
Aryan huffed. "From doctor,"
Ashi smiled and ruffled his hairs. "Don't worry, Aru. Kha liya tere Bhaiya ne. He also had some good sleep."
Aryan relaxed hearing that.
"Apne Bhaiya ke saath rahega?" Ashi asked seeing his long face.
Aryan nodded. Ashi smiled and left the brothers to their own. She knew Aryan wasn't willing to leave Arnav's side and she was glad for that. Aryan was apparently the only one who could make Arnav obey without having to bear the burnt of his anger.

Aniket was in the hall when he recieved a call. He talked for some time and disconnected the call with a worried expression on his face.
"Kya hua, Ani?" Ashi noticed the lines of worry on his face.
"Bhabhi, woh..." Aniket hesitated.
"Woh kya?"
Aniket sighed. "Ek important case ki filing ke liye jana hai. I need to go now."
Ashi tensed up. "Ani, Ghar se possible nhi hai? Ya ek do din delay Kar do?"
"Nhi ho sakta, Bhabhi." Aniket shook his head in dismay. They looked at each other troubled. They shared the same apprehensions. Arnav wouldn't be pleased to let Aniket even step out of home at the moment. Even though Mittal was behind the bars, they needed to take precautions for some days.
Anikets sighed. "Mai baat Kar ke aata hoon Bhaiya se,"
"Woh nhi maanenge, Ani," Ashi said worried.
"Let me talk, Bhabhi."
