"Yes Mom", pause "Okay Mom" I could hear the aggravation in James's voice as he spoke into the phone.

"When?" He asks.

He groans at her response.

"Yeah okay, bye" he hangs up the phone.

"Darling" he calls me from the kitchen where I was ease dropping on his phone conversation.

I peak my head out from the corner. "Yes?" I question him innocently.

"Please come here".

I do as he says and walk towards him and stop once I get stand in front of him.

"Could you please rub my shoulders?" He asks nicely.

I smile and kneel on the couch and press my hands into his shoulders, working my fingers around all his muscles.

He groans out as I do so.

"What's wrong?" I question him.

"My Mom", he groans again, "She wants have us over for a weekend" he explains.

"Why are you so stressed over that?" I ask.

"She expects things, Sweetheart" he tells me.

"I have a way better idea as to what will get your mind off that" I smirk.

He suddenly turns around grabs my hips, pulling me into his lap so I straddle him.

I kiss his lips for a brief second and then move down his his jaw down to his neck.

"You know I thought you might have had bit of an idea to what we were talking about since it was quite obvious that you are ease dropping in the kitchen" he chuckles.

I grab the hem of his shirt and whip it off of his back.

"Rough much?" He asks.

I pull away from him,"Lay down".

He does as I say and I get on top of him, hovering.

I press my lips back to his, his hands sliding up to hips and down to the hem of my shirt.

I couldn't help but smile against his lips.

I pull away from him to take it off then return my lips to his.

He separated his lips for me, since I wouldn't.

I gently tugged on his bottom lip with my teeth.

There was a knock on the door, but I ignored it.

It just continued.

Shit.

"Babe, someone's got answer that" James manages to mumble out.

I groan angrily and stand up putting my shirt back on.

"How do I look?" I ask.

He shrugs, "Flatten out your hair" he smiles.

I chuckle and straighten out my hair.

I unlock the door and open it up.

It was one of the last people I thought I'd see.

Luke and my mother.

Holy hell.

"Vena! It's so great to see you!" My mom pulls me into a hug.

I smiled and held onto her. I saw her last right before I moved out.

It's been like five months.
