Lydia tossed the shot back as she turned to the boys, trying to keep a straight face. "How do you do it?!" Larry shouted not understanding how she was able to hold her liquor face so well.

"Cough up buddy boy." She said holding out her hand and Larry reluctantly gave her a five dollar bill. She stuffed it in her pocket before the rest of the group walked over.

"We've been in this place for like an hour, ready for our next stop?" Nick said.

"Let's do it!" Lydia said and she followed the boys. As they walked on the sidewalk to their next location Lydia walked next to Blake.

"How was the wedding hair thing today?" Blake asked trying to show interest in what she does.

"It was...interesting." Lydia said before laughing. Blake looked at her confused so she began to explain. He had to admit he did feel a bit jealous when she said Brandon tried to make a move on her. He immediately laughed It off the second she told him what the bride said to her and what Lydias response was. He wasn't jealous anymore, it was pretty clear she didn't want anything to do with him at all.

"how much was written on the check?" he asked when she finished her story.

"One thousand." Lydia said with a small laugh.

"Damn. So everything's on you?" Blake joked.

"Such a gentleman, making the woman pay on her birthday."

"Never in a million years, would I ever let you pay for anything while I'm around. Even when it isn't your birthday." He said putting his arm around her shoulder.

"I know." She smiled at him. Soon they made it to their destination for the night. Isaac made sure to find a place close to their hotel so if there was only one remotely sober person, they would make it back hopefully.

"I know Blake has refused to do drunk karaoke but hopefully we can get him plastered enough he'll do it." Isaac said as they walked into their private karaoke room for the night. Nick agreed to be the one who would try to stay sober. For two reasons, so he could get everyone back safely, and film their night of singing for content.

Most of the group was absolutely drunk by the time it was midnight. They had about thirty more minutes in the room before the place closed and they had to leave. Lydia grabbed Blake and pulled him up the stage, he had yet to sing or at least rap and Lydia wasn't leaving until he did. "Please, it could be one of your songs for all I care, but please just sing something." She begged as her words slurred together.

"Alright, alright, alright. You pick the song, but none of that cheesy slow song shit." He said and she smiled as she nodded. She picked a song that was more upbeat and the whole group could sing.

"I'm malicious mean and scary
My sneer could curdle dairy." Isaac began and Blake rolled his eyes before looking at Lydia while he continued.

"Really?"

"Hey, this one isn't sad at all!" She smiled as Isaac continued and the whole group sang different parts. Blake knew exactly what part Lydia wanted him to sing because she compared the man to him so much.

"I have dreams like you, no really!
Just much less touchy-feely
That mainly happen somewhere warm and sunny
On an island that I own
Tanner and rested and alone
Surrounded by enormous piles of money" Blake sang. Lydia watched him closely as he did, there was something about his voice when he sang, rapped, or just talked that scratched a certain spot in her brain making her feel so much more comfortable around him than anyone else.

"I've got a dream (she's got a dream!)
I've got a a dream (she's got a dream!)" and with those four worded short sentences Blake was immediately entranced by her, even more than before. "I just wanna see the floating lanterns gleam!
And with every passing hour
I'm so glad I left my tower
Like all you lovely folks I've got a dream!" Blake could not take her eyes off her even if someone tried. She sounded like an angel even if it sounded cheesy and she was drunk and still slurring her words a little bit. She made it look so effortless when she sang the song, even though he knew it wasn't. Especially when drunk. He continued to sing the song even though he couldn't stop being entranced by her. She had him wrapped around his finger and she had absolutely no clue.

Nick was so thankful they got rooms next to each other because getting a group of five drunk people through the streets of New York at one in the morning wasn't easy. Lydia walked into her room and face planted on the bed before having to get up when she heard a knock on her door.

"You left this-" he hiccuped. "With me." Blake said when she opened the door. He held out the purse. Lydia giggled imagining Blake walking around with a purse. She welcomed him in when she realized she had his phone on her nightstand. They switched items and completely forgot.

"Thank you for singing-" she hiccuped.

"I sang?" He asked laughing completely forgetting that he did in fact sing a song. And a few after the first before they had to leave, not to mention singing on the walk back.

"You did." She laughed too as she handed him his phone.

"Your laugh is so pretty." He told her and her laughing died down as she looked up at him.

"Good thing you're funny." He looked at her confused. "So you'll hear it more often."

He laughed at her realizing what she was saying. "Oh yeah...that does play in my favor."

"I really like you." She blurted out making him look at her shocked.

"No way, I really like you too!" He said.

"That's crazy!" She slurred out lightly pushing his shoulder. "Do we kiss now?"

"Only if you want, cause I really do."

"I really do too."

So Blake placed his hand on her cheek and leaned in, pressing his lips onto hers. She kissed him back immediately and smiled against his lips. He laid her down on the bed, his lips not leaving hers.

Someone started banging on her door. She groaned as she opened her eyes, and Blake was gone. She fell asleep and it was now the next morning. "Lydia get up we wanna go get food!" She hear nick shouting.

Blake was never in her room.

Blake never drunkenly admitted his feelings.

Blake never kissed her.
