Akane POV
After leaving the cafe.
Shiro-kun and I exchanged goodbyes as we left.
He's such an interesting guy without question but I did act weird for no reason in front of him.
It's not like me to do so.
I feel really odd.
No...I don't think I should bother with this yet.
I mean, I just came from a breakup. I really shouldn't get my hopes up. Besides, I doubt he would feel the same for me anyway.
He seems a bit too busy for such things.
I mean with a boy with good looks like that. I'm sure he probably has a girlfriend in secret that I don't know about.
But what was that deal?
He told me we can speak again when I agree to helping him.
Helping him do what?
He wasn't very clear with that.
*Sigh* He's trying his hardest to keep secrets from me.
That boy really is something.
What am I supposed to do about that?
I don't know...
My life has been pretty weird now ever since what happened on the ship.
Should I take up his deal?
I mean just from his voice from earlier. He was reluctant.
I can't help but think that...he probably doesn't want me involved in all of this.
The terrorist stuff I mean.
It's obvious that the boy is working for some organization. Maybe he's working with that Ayanokouji guy he talked about before.
Well...I have to make a decision soon.
Before this secret meeting happens taking place on November.
Ohh well...
Guess I better make my response soon for Shiro-kun.
3rd person POV
Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted as she hears her phone ringing.
Akane quickly grabs the phone and sees who was calling her.
It was Hoshino Ruby of all people.
While not surprised, she went to answer the phone.
Akane: Hello?
Ruby: Ohh hey, Akane.
Akane: Ruby-san...what's up?
Ruby: Well I...I know haven't spoken to you in a while since the incident on the ship but...it has been pretty difficult for everyone here ever since that said incident.
Akane: I see.
Ruby: Anyway, I called you because I wanted to ask about what happened to you and Onii-chan.
Akane: Ohh...that...
Ruby: He told me that he broke up with you or something. Did something go wrong?
Akane: I wouldn't say exactly that something went wrong...it's just complicated.
Ruby: I hope you're okay. I know Onii-chan has his own problems but...well whatever it is that happened. I won't try to pry too much into it.
