Season 2 Episode 26: Rise of the Spinjitzu Masters

In Ninjago city, Dearth kicks Kuzo out of his dojo
"Heh, I told you they'd do it." Dareth said as Edna looks out to the grey sky
"Oh, is it the ninja?." Edna asked
"It must be." Lou said
"The ninja have won?." A man asked
"Haha, we're saved!." Lou cheered with everyone
"About time." Brad crossed his arms
"Now to get this place back in order." Lou smiled as Kuzo laughs as a bright light shines in the sky
"What the..." dearth looked confused as the Garmatron appears from the beam of light
"What is that?." Dearth asked as everyone runs away, Dearth glared and stand in front of the cannons
"Dearth! What are you doing!?." (Y/N) yelled as he is still in the bubble
"Oh. All right. You will have until the count of three to leave here before I unleash the power of one, hee-yah! The dragon. Two, penguin." Dearth counted down
"Dearth! Get out of here!." (Y/N) yelled as Dearth noticed him
"(Y/N)?...
"Three." The Overlord said as he fired at him, dearth dodged
"Haha, you missed." Dearth mocked as the cannon follows him and fires at him
"Oh no." Dearth screams as he takes cover behind a building
"We shall meet again. This I swear! Where are those ninja?!." Dearth asked as the Overlord laughs as he infects more of the city
"Stop this!." (Y/N) yelled as the Overlord looked at him
"Don't think I forgot about you, I have plans, big plans for you." The Overlord said as Kuzo approached him, the Overlord frees him as grabbed his arms holding him up
"What are you doing?!." (Y/N) yelled as the Overlord approached with Dark Matter in his hand
"Welcome to the winning side." The Overlord said as he gets the Dark Matter to his face
"No! No!." (Y/N) yelled as the Overlord laughs as Dearth watched in fear

Meanwhile the ninja are stuck on the Dark Island
"Can I still fight?." Lloyd asked as Dr Julien bandaging Lloyd's leg
"Hmm, I'm sorry. That leg will take weeks to heal." Julien said
"We don't have weeks." Lloyd said grunting
"The batttle between good and evil will be decided today." Wu said
"And we can't even get to the fight, much less off this island." Kai groaned
"Great, so Lloyd's legs broken, Nyas evil, and (Y/N) is now under the Overlords control." Jay groaned
"Perhaps it's best to think of our friends as we remember them in our hearts, not as they are now." Zane said
"But I don't remember my father any other way." Lloyd said
"Your father loved you. It was the evil of the Great Devourer that corrupted him." Miskao explained
"Sensei, I don't understand. The prophecy said the Green and Purple Ninja would defeat the Dark Lord. Why didn't we win?." Kai asked
"How come you didn't know (Y/N) was a creation of the Overlord?." Cole asked
"I...don't know." Wu said
"Don't know? You're Sensei! You always know! You have a long white beard!." Jay yelled
"There must be some message to learn. A lesson. A word of wisdom. Just a word? Something?." Kai asked
"For once. I'm afraid there is nothing to learn. Only that evil has won." Wu said sadly
"Even if we find a way off this island, the Final Battle has already been lost, the Overlord has (Y/N), without him, Lloyd can't defeat the Overlord." Julien said as Lloyd hops to then
"If Sensei doesn't have a lesson, then I do. I used to be nothing but trouble, but then I met you guys. You took me in. Showed me the importance of being brave, the importance of being strong. And most importantly, being good. When this battle first began, when the First Spinjtizu Master fought the Overlord and his back was up against the wall and he knew it was all over, did he quit? No. He found a way to keep the fight going. He passed his Elemental Powers to us. Of all people, a bunch of kids. But there must have been a reason he chose us. I'd like to think it's because he knew we'd never back down, we'd never give up. Even (Y/N) was chosen on our side for a purpose, he may be created for evil, but he has been nothing more then a hero, a person that I have looked up to, a ninja never quits, but we don't quit on each other, no matter the background." Lloyd explained
"Lloyd's right, (Y/N) has been with us since the beginning, he's been a true friend to us, so if we're all going to save him then that means we may have to swim the sea to off this island, then so be it." Kai said as he waddles in the ocean
"The entire ocean? I mean yeah (Y/N) is a great friend, and we'd do anything to save him, but the entire ocean?  I didn't bring my floaties." Jay said as Kai groans
"Well, if you got a better plan..." Cole asked
"I don't, but he may." Zane said pointing at the Falcon
"Ooh, the Falcon. He must have found something." Julien said as they followed it

Everyone now climbs up the Mountain on Kai's Fire Mech. They soon arrived at the Temple of Light
"You brought us back to the Temple of Light? I do not understand. We've already been here." Zane said as they walked inside
"This location. I've seen this before. I just never understood it." Miskao said as she pulls out a scroll with the Temples layouts, the ninja look around and Kai finds something
"I think I found something. It's just like the map."Kai said as he inserts his Elemental Blade inside a slot
"There's one more over here." Wu said
"And here." Julien said
"And over here." Misako said as they stand at the other three pillars
The ninja walk to the other three and insert their blades into them each which opens up the hidden platform which revealed the Golden Mech
"What is it?." Kai asked
"Cool." Jay said wowed
"It is the fighting suit the First Spinjtizu Master used when he battled the Overlord." Misako said
"You mean the First Spinjtizu Master once sat here? Haha, get out of here!." Cole yelled as he occupied the mech
"How do you make this thing work?." Cole asked
"Sadly, I think time has done her in, she's only a relic now." Julien sighed
"If it worked for the First Spinjtizu Master, perhaps it will work for the Next Spinjtizu Masters?." Wu asked
"It's worth a shot."
Lloyd said as he climbed up the mech, Cole jumped off
"Hey, watch out." Cole said as he landed
"Hmm, nothing." Lloyd said as the mech suddenly activates
"Woah!." Lloyd yelled
"Woah!." Cole yelled
"Looking good!." Kai yelled
"Killer!." Jay chuckled
"Amazing!." Zane yelled
"How does your leg feel?." Wu asked as Lloyd moved it which moved the leg of the mech
"Stronger." Lloyd said
"Well, I know how he's getting to Ninjago, but what about us?." Miskao asked as they hear a familiar roar outside
"I know that sound. It's our dragon!." Jay smiled
"I believe we just found out way off this rock." Wu said
"Let's go save (Y/N)." Lloyd said determined

The ninja fly back to Ninjago, Lloyd flew in the mech while everyone else flew on the Ultra Dragon
"I see Ninjago. We're not far away!." Kai yelled pointing a purple light coming out of the clouds
"Oh, you sure that's Ninjago?." Cole asked
"Wow." Jay wowed as Kai sees a building that wasn't there before
"What is that thing?." Kai asked
"Garmatron." Wu answered
"It's turned into a fortress?." Miskao asked
"But where's the Overlord and (Y/N)?." Julien asked as they land on the ground and hide
"He's turned everyone evil." Kai said as everyone groaned walking around, they had purple eyes and dark skin just like Nya
"Oh, just like Nya." Jay said sadly
"And now they're helping his cause. I can't wait to see the look on the Overlords face when he gets a load of us." Cole said
"Oh, my goodness." Jay said as the Garmatron blasts some Dark Matter towards them
"Oh seeet mother may I." Jay said as they watched it approach
"Look out Jay!." Kai yelled as Jay dodged just as it missed him
"Is that the look you were hopping for?." Zane asked
"Zane, no." Jay said not in the mood
"The metamorphosis is complete. The Overlords changed into his original form." Miskao said pointing at the Top of the Garmatron
"But we can't fly up there." Cole said
"We have my father's Golden Mech. We have to draw their fire to help Lloyd use the mech against the Overlord." Wu explained
"We hear you loud and clear." Cole said as the ninja, Wu, and Miskao fly on the dragon
"Everyone, hold on tight!." Cole yelled
"Let us hope we can find (Y/N) soon." Wu said as the stone army spots them
"We will Sensei, we will." Kai said as they approached
"Wait....wait.....wait.... Now!." Kozu yelled as they fired upon them
"Look out, Sensei!." Cole yelled
"Pull up! Quick, pull up!." Kai yelled as they pulled up
"The stone army is protecting its master. They will never let Lloyd get close." Miskao explained
"Then we have to get close." Wu said as dearth watched
"Yeah. I knew they'd be back." Dearth smiled
"Time to bring out the big buttons." Lloyd said as he ran up to the stone warriors and slashes them
"Ninja!-
The mech gets blasted back, Lloyd looks up and gasps, so did the others
"(Y/N)?." Lloyd asked as (Y/N) stood infront of him complete covered in grey with purple eyes
"No...." Wu looked down
"(Y/N), stop this. This isn't you." Lloyd said as he gets up, only to be shot down by Nya who laughs
"We need to protect him." Miskao said
"Are you crazy? That's (Y/N) down there, he's too strong for all of us." Jay said
"But not if you break him free." Miskao said as (Y/N) grabbed the mechs leg and threw it into the Garmatron
"Ugh!." Lloyd groaned
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled as they jumped off the dragon and fought back some stone warriors
"(Y/N)! Stop this!." Kai yelled
"Remember who you are!." Zane said as (Y/N) growled as he summoned his powers, Lloyd blasted him back
"Sorry (Y/N)." Lloyd apologised
"Ice!." Zane yelled as he created ice to block the Dark Matter from hitting them
"Good job Zane!." Kai congratulated as Nya breaks the ice
"Fire!." Kai yelled hitting Nyas cannon, she retreats, the ninja soon get surrounded
"I know we've always drawn a crowd, but this is ridiculous." Jay said
"How can you be making jokes at a time like this?." Kai asked
"Hey, if I'm going down, might as well go down laughing." Jay said as (Y/N) got up and growled
"Ohh, we are in so much trouble." Jay said
The ultra dragon lands on a roof nearby
"We need to go back and save them." Wu said
"There are too many. Look." Misako pointed at the Overlords Helmet on the ground
"His helmet must have fallen off during his transformation
"What does that matter?." Julien asked
"He who wears the helmet, controls the army." Miskao explained
"What?." Wu asked
"It was written in the scroll. What if the helmet is more than just the key to the clock? What if that helmet is the reason Garmadon was able to control the stone army in the first place? If we can get to that helmet, we could stop the army." Miskao explained
"What are we waiting for?." Julien asked
Meanwhile the Ninja fight off against the Army and (Y/N)
"Come on (Y/N), your our friend! Snap out of it!." Jay yelled as (Y/N) sent a blast to them
"Ah!." Jay screamed as he dodged
"Keep fighting! Uhh. Never give up!." Lloyd yelled
"Ninja never quit!." Kai yelled
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled doing Spinjtizu, only for Nya to shoot them down
"We're doomed guys." Jay said
(Y/N) goes to strike them with his sais, Kai stops him
"(Y/N) come on! Please!." Kai yelled as he resisted for a second, his eyes turning normal before purple again
"I think he's fighting the corruption!." Zane yelled
The stone army appeared closer
"But we're not going to be fighting out of this one!." Cole yelled as they were about to be struck down, only for the warriors to stop
"What happened?." Kai asked as (Y/N) growled at the warriors
"They are frozen." Zane answered as he took this chance to freeze (Y/N) who growled
"That should buy us some time." Zane said
"All hail the Brown Ninja! What do you command?." Kozu asked
"Brown ninja?." Jay asked
"Hehe, what's up fellas? Looks like we all know who's in command now." Dearth said
"The helmet controls the army. Well done." Cole thanked
"Oh, that means we now stand a fighting chance." Jay said
"Not unless we can free (Y/N), he's the only other piece to stop the Overlord." Lloyd said
"Well, let's give it our all." Kai said as they all raised their Elemental blades up above Lloyd
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled as (Y/N) breaks free and growls
"Let's save our friend." Zane said as (Y/N) growled and rushed them
Kai blocked the Sai's swung at him, Cole traps (Y/N) in earth, (Y/N) destroys it and throws his Sais at Cole who blocks them
"Woah!." Cole yelled as (Y/N) sent blasts at them, they all dodged
"Kai! I have an idea!." Lloyd yelled as Kai helps him up
"What's the plan?." Kai asked as Lloyd whispers it to Kai
Zane freezes the floor trapping (Y/N)'s legs, Jay then sent electricity at him and shocks (Y/N)
"Sorry (Y/N)." Jay said as (Y/N) breaks the ice and uses Spinjtizu on them
"Gah!." They groaned
"Hey!." Lloyd yelled as (Y/N) looks at him
"I know the real (Y/N) is in there somewhere, the real (Y/N) is stronger than he looks. Fight it!." Lloyd yelled as (Y/N) fired blasts at him, Lloyd sends blasts back
"Fight it!." Lloyd yelled as more blasts are shot, Lloyd keeps deflecting them
"You're my cousin! My family! Remember everything we've been through!." Lloyd yelled as (Y/N) flashbacks to the past
"Fight it!." Lloyd yelled as (Y/N) grabs his head and shakes violently as he sees everything his been through, him meeting the ninja, helping them with the Golden Weapons, when they star gazed, when he was a boy playing and training with Wu, and him and Nya spending their time together
"Aargh!." (Y/N) screamed as he gets covered in a bright light blinding them temporarily
"Woah." Dearth wowed
"They did it!." Misako cheered as Wu hugs her
"He is back." Wu smiled
"Way to go ninja!." Julien yelled as the bright light dims down and shows (Y/N) back to normal
"(Y/N)!." Lloyd yelled as (Y/N) held his head
"I'm- I'm back?." (Y/N) asked as Lloyd hopped over and hugged him
"You fought back." Lloyd smiled as (Y/N) hugged back
"We need to get to the top of the towers, the Overlord is waiting up there." (Y/N) said
"Good thing we have any army then." Jay chuckled as (Y/N) noticed the army obey to dearth
"Dearth, you surprise to amaze me." (Y/N) smiled at Dearth
"Now, what do you say we put an end to this Final Battle?." Zane asked as they nodded
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled
"Stone army! Go!." Dearth ordered as they run up the stairs but Nya shoots them
"Let's help them out." Miskao said as they begin flying, Nya shoots at them and hits the dragon
"We're hit!." Miskao yelled
"We have to land. This is as far as we can go." Wu said as the ninja run up the stairs
"Look out!." Jay yelled as Cole gets hit by the Dark Matter
"Cole!." (Y/N) yelled
"Come on. Get up!." Lloyd yelled
"Ugh. I'm hit. Go! Go on... without me. Ugh." Cole groaned as they change started
"We need to move, now!." Kai yelled as they kept running, Jay notices another blast and pushes Lloyd and (Y/N) as he gets hit
"Jay!." Lloyd yelled
"Not to too." (Y/N) said sadly
"Get out of the way!." Jay yelled
"Don't look, just keep climbing!." Kai yelled as they kept running
"Ugh. From my calculations, with the distance remaining to the top, the odds are that only two of us is going to make it." Zane calculated
"Then let's beat the odds!." Lloyd yelled as they kept climbing, only for Cole and Jay to follow behind corrupted
"Go on. I'll hold them back." Zane said as they both to attempt to strike Zane, but he blocks them with his own, Lloyd, Kai and (Y/N) continue up the steps and encounter a corrupted Nya
"Nya!." (Y/N) yelled
"I'm gonna draw her fire so you both can make it to the top." Kai said as Nya starts shooting at them with darkness, Kai blocks them with his Elemental Blade
"Let's go!." (Y/N) yelled as he helped Lloyd up
"You're hurt, you both hardly stand a chance!." Nya yelled
"The real Nya knows that's a lie! We do!." (Y/N) yelled as Kai breaks the machine
"Go!." Kai yelled as they make it to the top where they see the Overlord in his true form
"So you have broken free from my Dark Matter." The Overlord said looking at (Y/N)
"We have come here to fight you!." Lloyd yelled as the Overlord laughs
"You're in no shape to fight. It's over. Evil wins, and you will be brought back to my side my apprentice!." The Overlord yelled at (Y/N)
"A ninja never quits!." Lloyd yelled
"Ninja never quit!." (Y/N) yelled at the Overlord
"You both don't even have a sword." The Overlord laughed
"We don't need a sword." Lloyd said as he creates an Energy shield around them
"Then all I have to say is... goodbye." The Overlord said as he opens his mouth and blasts them with darkness, nearly pushing them off, they look at the city underneath them before looking at the Overlord again, (Y/N) then closes his eyes and does the movements and stances perfecting them as Lloyd's energy force filed expand and harms the Overlord, surrounding them in a blinding light, it is revealed Lloyd and (Y/N) as the Ultimate Spinjtizu Masters
"They have become the Ultimate Spinjtizu Masters." Miskao said
"This is the Final Battle." Wu said as Lloyd wears a Golden Gi and (Y/N) wears a Fully purple Gi
"We are the Ultimate Spinjtizu Masters!." Lloyd and (Y/N) yelled
"No!." The Overlord yelled as he swipes at the duo, (Y/N) grabs his claw as Lloyd kicks the Overlord back, (Y/N) then blasted the Overlord back with his new powers
"No!." The Overlord yelled as Lloyd and (Y/N) summoned the Golden and Purple Dragon
"Awesome!." Dearth smiled
"You can't defeat me. Where there is light, there will always be shadow!." The Overlord yelled
"Unless our light is bright enough!." They yelled as the Golden and Purple dragon tackled the Overlord, they get sent falling down, nearly crashing into Dearth, he covers his head as the three dragons move upwards
"This...." Lloyd started
"Ends...." (Y/N) continued
"Now." They said together
"You can't defeat me." The Overlord said as he surrounded Lloyd and (Y/N) with a cloud of shadows, allowing himself to grow in size, he starts laughing as he attempts to devour the duo, however they resist
"No! No! No! NOOOOO!!!." The Overlord screamed as Lloyd and (Y/N) used their powers to defeat the Overlord, the Overlord implodes as the darkness covering the city disappears, turning everything back into light, including the people
"Ugh, what happened?." Kai asked as they woke up on the ground as he and Jay spot Nya back to normal
"Nya!." They yelled as they run towards her
"My sister." Kai smiled
"Nya! You're back." Jay hugged her
Cole helps Zane up
"Come here, you tin can." Cole said as they hugged
"Brother." Zane said hugging back
"Is this really happening? We did it?." Julien asked
"We did it. You did it. I did it! Heck, who didn't do it?!." Dearth asked
"Yeah. But where's Lloyd and (Y/N)?." Kai asked as the duo fly down on their dragons
"Lloyd! (Y/N)!." They yelled happily
"You were brilliant you two." Miskao smiled
"Because of you both, Ninjago was saved. Because of you both, there will be a tomorrow." Wu smiled
"Haha! I got a dragon! I have a dragon!." (Y/N) cheered as they cheered for him as Nya runs up to him and hugs him
"Nya! You're back to normal!." (Y/N) hugged her
"I'm so proud of you!." Nya smiled as they cried little as they hug
"If the Overlord should ever decide to show his face again around here, we'll be ready." Kai said as the duo stop hugging and hold hands
"And next time, we'll be a little more humble." Cole said
"And a little more wise." Zane smiled
"And we will do it together." (Y/N) smiled as he looked at Nya who smiled back
"And don't forget! With better catchphrases." Jay said as they all laughed, (Y/N) taking the chance to kiss Nyas cheek making her blush
"It's good to have you back." (Y/N) smiled at Nya before seeing Lloyd looking sad, he looked at Nya who nodded, allowing (Y/N) to approach him
" I'm going to miss him too." (Y/N) said as Lloyd sighed sadly
"We all will miss him." Miskao said as something moves from behind them as Garmadon emerges from the rubble, purified from the Ultimate powers
"Lloyd. (Y/N) what... what happened?." Garmadon asked
"Garmadon, is it really you?." Miskao asked
"Dad? Oh dad!." Lloyd yelled hugging him
"Every ounce of evil and venom is...gone." Miskao said embracing him
"I feel good. Aha! It's been so long." Garmadon smiled as he see (Y/N)
"(Y/N)?." Garmadon asked
"Uncle?." (Y/N) asked as Garmadon smiled
"Get in here." Garmadon smiled as (Y/N) hugs them
"Is this the real you?." (Y/N) asked as Garmadon smiled
"It is, my dear nephew." Garmadon smiled as they released him from the hug
"Good to have you back, brother." Wu said
"Wu! Good to be back." Garmadon smiled
"Aw, would you look at that? Who would have thought we'd ever see the day? You think we should dogpile them?." Jay asked
"Let's give them their moment. They earned it." Kai said smiling
"It's been quite a ride, fellas." Cole smiled
"You think there will be others?." Zane asked
"I hope so. I like being a ninja. It's not like we have many other skills." Cole said
"Ha, speak for yourself. I'm looking forward to doing a little inventing, maybe some model-building, dabble in poetry-
"Jays right. We've come a long way and there's no reason why we can't use what we've learned in our everyday lives. And who knows? We may have gotten the balance right today, but there's always tomorrow. There's no way of knowing what's around the corner. But as long as there something worth fighting for, there's always a need for a ninja. And we'll be ready." Kai said smiling as the Garmadons and (Y/N) walk together smiling while Wu hangs around the other ninja as they look into the rising sun
