After Azaan's wedding I had to drop Alizeh home. Between all the business and the unannounced event we hadn't completed our conversation. I hadn't forgotten about it but I also didn't want to bring up everything right before she left.

Alizeh however had been constantly blabbering the entire ride home. "Zain where's your attention I asked you an important question."

"Didn't hear it." I answered as I had been preoccupied with Mahir's words for the tenth time. I didn't believe him but you agreed Zeh, you did.

"So do you want me to be a red bride or a pink bride. Though no one can beat my Dua when it comes to pink. So red it is." She asked in excitement but I only nodded.

I dropped her home and was about to take off when she stopped me, "Where are you going?"

"You have at least ten cars in your garage any of them can drop you to the airport." I told her.

"They can however am I not your responsibility?" She threw my words back at me which I had uttered during our cruise trip.

"Now wait here and drop me off like a good boy. I'll go change and send my luggage." She ordered and with that she was gone.

I had to wait inside, having awkward conversations with her mother. I don't know why I was still being a gentleman and listening to everything she was ordering me to do even after everything that happened. One part of me said I was a nice person the other begged to differ.

Alizeh came down quicker than I expected and then hugged her mother goodbye. As we got in the car again, she started blabbering again saying something like how I should visit her after her exams were over and we could go on some Ferris wheel.

Until finally she noticed I was quiet, she asked me in a concerned voice, "You have been too quiet. Are you okay?"

"I'm always quiet." I answered.

"Not always with me. I get special treatment." She answered cheekily.

"Why should you get special treatment?"

"Because I'm special to you. Now tell me what's bothering you?"

"You" I answered in one word as I sped up.

"Me? Did I do something?" She questioned. I wanted to let the matter rest for now but she was hell bent on getting answers.

"Do you remember I asked you on Noor's birthday if there was any other reason for you saying yes to this marriage and you said you wanted it yourself. You lied." I ended up blurting out.

She wouldn't need to hesitate if it wasn't the truth but she became quiet until she finally spoke up again. "Is that why you were asking me in the morning about the deal?" Not the deal again.
