I woke up when I felt a severe pain in my left leg. I slowly opened my eyes and it shocked me a bit when I saw a little monkey staring at me as if it was checking if I'm awake already or not. Tila nagulat din naman siya sa'kin kaya mabilis siyang umalis at saka pumunta sa dulo ng aking kama.
"Fucking zoo." I said to myself as I tried to help my legs to move. I groaned when I felt a pulsating pain on my left leg as I tried to move it. "Shet!" I slammed myself back to the bed and stared at the ceiling. Sana may pumasok na para tulungan ako.
Pero parang wala pa namang may balak na pumasok dito sa silid ko, and I wasn't born to be weak. Kailangan kong tulungan ang sarili ko. Kung gaganito at gaganito ako ay malamang wala akong pahahantungan. Kaya naman ginamit ko lahat ng lakas ko para tumayo at ginamit na lang na kung ano ang mahawakan ko bilang alalay upang hindi ako matumba, hanggang umabot ako sa may vanity table para umupo doon. Nagulat akong muli ng sumulpot ang unggoy sa harapan ko at saka may tinuro. Umupo siya sa gilid ng vanity table at tinuro ito na parang nais niya itong makita ko.
It's a super dark blue rectangle box. Sa unang tingin ay aakalain mong kulay itim ang box ngunit kong titignan mo ng mabuti ay dark blue ito. Hinawakan ko ang box at saka huminto ang kamay ko sa isang pamilyar sa simbolo sa gitna ng box. Hindi ko mawari kung tatak ito ng brand kung saan man nabili ito ngunit pamilyar sa akin. I know every designer brand. It's my first time seeing this but it seems to be familiar. Like I had something like this before.
The symbol on the middle is like an arrow that was bent to form a circle, but the circle has ended, and the end seems to be shuttered.

I opened the box and my eyes automatically widened when I saw what was inside— buches of jewelry. All kinds of accessories are here. Probably from head accessories to fooot accessories. Kaya siguro may kalakihan ang box. Ang lahat ng ito ay gawa sa ginto. I mean knowing their family, hindi sila magreregalo ng pekeng ginto. Shet! Pwede isanggla 'to ah.
This is my first time seeing this lot of jewelry. I mean, I receive gifts like this from my parents or loved ones, pero hindi ganito karami. Are they trying to dazzle me with their wealth so they can finally have my trust? or to lessen my suspicion?

I automatically turned when I heard a voice from a woman and as I saw her there was a pinch in my heart. I didn't have time to answer her question. We just ended up staring at each other. Her aura and charisma made me swallow hard. She wasn't smiling while looking at me. She's not mad either. I don't know if she's happy or angry to see me.
