"Are you ready?"

Haruto cutely pouted when Junkyu handed him his bag. They were in his office in the gallery although they were closed on a Monday.

Junkyu had been encouraging him to attend art classes because according to his boyfriend, it might be something that he wants to do, he just doesn't want to pay it any mind. He sees potential in him that he doesn't even think he has, just like how he naturally fell into art when Asahi introduced it to him. But putting his ex aside, he knew deep down in him that he genuinely likes art. So, after so many proposals from Junkyu of different art classes, he finally decided to take one.

"We could've enrolled together." Haruto said in his sulking voice. They are now going downstairs.

"If we take classes together then no one will be here in the gallery. This is my job, too. I still get to drop you off at the academy every Monday whenever the gallery is close." Junkyu replied with his voice more excited than the actual student.

"I could never win against you." Haruto said as he scooped Junkyu's waist and pulled him against him before planting a soft kiss on Junkyu's temple.

"When you do your first art exhibit, I'll be in the front row!"

Haruto just smirked while he opened his car's passenger door for Junkyu. He couldn't brush off the smile on his face. He wasn't someone to do something out of the blue. But seeing Junkyu's precious smile and excitement when he finally decided to enroll to an art academy, makes this all so worth it.

Since then, it had been a week that passed. Haruto thought he wouldn't last at least 3 sessions, but surprisingly, he was having fun. There are only 10 students in the class and they are all doing it as a hobby rather than something they would live off from. That might be the reason why Haruto isn't feeling any pressure in what he does because he could just express himself without any competition or inferiority.

"I liked this one!" Junkyu complimented one of his art activities.

They were inside Haruto's art studio in the gallery, which was an old stock room. They turned it into his own little studio when he started his classes, thanks to Junkyu's help who personally was hands-on on renovating the room.

"Do you want to try? It's super easy."

Junkyu pouted. "Easy for someone like you. I can only draw lines and that's it."

Haruto started setting up a blank canvas on an easel with his paint and brushes.

"Here. You can try it."

Junkyu was a bit surprised by the sudden set up and challenge.

"What? I don't know how to do it."

Haruto tutted and gently grabbed Junkyu's wrist to drag him in front of the easel.

"Just put any colors you want. Any shapes. Anything."

"Junghoon might've been better than me doing this."

Junkyu was giggling but Haruto could tell the sad smile on his eyes.

"Okay, then try painting like a house and trees. Don't worry, I won't judge you." His laughter echoed in the room.

Junkyu wasn't the art type of guy. Surely, he appreciates it but he isn't one to dare make fun of it. But in the end, Haruto's presence behind him somehow gave him confidence to pick up the brush and start coloring the white canvas.

Haruto, on the other hand, also set up his own canvas and easel very close to Junkyu where he comfortably sat. He had to do his art assignment anyway. What better way to do it is with Junkyu.
